Normally its not smart to fade Brees in the Dome BUT....

The Books are scared to hang more than +3.5 here for the 49ers....

Even after a 49ers home loss and the Saints blow out over the Cowboys on national tv.

That right there should tell you something.

There is a good chance the 49ers win this game straight up.

The 49ers should dominate the trenches in this one and the 49ers should be able to run the ball on the Saints all game.

Yes the Saints blew out the Cowboys on national tv last Sunday but the Cowboys are nowhere near the team the 49ers are...

Much like the early success DeMarco Murray had running the ball on the Saints..

Frank Gore will rush for 150 + Yards and the 49ers will do a much better job stopping Brees passing attack.

The 49ers are more than capable of putting points on the board against the Saints D and they will be pissed off coming into this game.

49ers +4 is the play if it reaches that by Sunday

I'm a niners fan and have watched them quite a bit this year. Kapernick is not the same this year i know they have been missing crabtree and manningham i just wonder how good he can read the defenses. i see the saints hanging up at least 30 so they would have to score over that for a shot. drew brees throws a great deep ball and niners may be without eric reid. Niners d will slow them a little but other than the first game i have yet to see anything that shows he will be able to hang with brees. saints under peyton are not the cupcake of last year.

Saints easy at home.....Their defense is physical now and will be able to contain Kaepernick

Saints offense literally unstoppable in the dome

I dont know boys i expected this line to be 6.5 or higher.

    this line is fishy.

The Saints cut thru the Cowboys run defense like a hot knife thru butter before opening up the air assault.

Yall know Aldon Smith, Justin Smith and Patrick Willis aint having that.

49ers may come out here and hit'em in the mouth.

Too tough to call. This NFL seems to always be close. I'd take points at +4

If they lose Vernon Davis and Eric Reid for this game, they're gonna lose. Assuming they have Vernon, this line is perfect. If they don't, Saints could be killing them.

I figured the line would be closer to 6 also. I know the Niners are better than Dallas but I thought no less than 4.5. I was surprised to see it at 3. Fishy indeed. Hard to bet against Brees in the Dome but Saints aren't invincible. I'm waiting on gameday to make my play.

With our passing game we'll have run the ball a lot (easy), play great defense (easy) but our passing is suspect. Again we pick on bad pass defenses a lot since this go should be a good game.

This line was a pk'em before the previous shenanigans so the -3.5/-3 is the inflated line.

So all you guys thinking the line is too low it is actually too high......

they played very well on defense actually.

And the Saints defense can be scored upon.

Saints may win this game something like 34-31

Look at the QB play. One team has a QB who is average at best and the other team has the best QB in the league.

49ers are not scoring 31 points. The have lost handily to all teams with winning records.

23-21 type game. no way saints score 34. 49ers will shove sproles at the line of scrimmage. and they will force thomas to help out blocking or else brees will be getting sacked all day. niners front 7 looks healthy now and ready to make a run.

kapernick is playing in a dome -- much different than candlestick. a dome is built for speed players. i think the niners will limit the big play and we'll see a lot of drives that end in punts or fgs

Yeah and Dallas had their best defender on defense go down and were left with ... a hobbled Demarcus Ware rushing the QB.

Not saying San Fran gonna win but this is twisting facts in a ridiculous way. San Fran defense and Dallas defense aren't even remotely comparable. Their commitment to the run on offense ain't exactly similar either.

LOL if you are comparing Dallas Defense to the Niners than you might want to seek evaluation. I know as a gambler it's impossible to keep up with all teams, all leagues etc. That is a absolute joke I can assure you. Niners have taken care of the Saints several games back. Everyone here is tripping on the Carolina game. Saints have NO D

Yes the 49ers will not give up 34 points to the Saints. We get it.

But how will they score points? They have no wide receivers that can get open. Saints neutralized both Bryant and Williams of Dallas who are pretty fast compared to the slow receivers of 49ers. Saints have the advantage in a high scoring or low scoring game. If you look at 49ers record, even from last year, when Vernon Davis is neutralized or out of game they struggle to put points on the board. Saints have the linebackers to block Vernon Davis all day. They are used to playing against big TE's like Tony Gonzalez and Greg Olsen. They know how to defend him.

Totally agree saints at home is the eziest bet in sports. I never analyze it. All away teams a bowl of oatmeal at all time. Kind of like new zealand vs mexico world cup qualifier yesterday 105000 screaming fans in mexico city. No need to analyze new zealands oatmeal staduim 35000

So if you like Niners ML, you are betting that SF can win in the Superdome in consecutive years. That's a tough task. Saints were a very different team last year, and there's a whole new mojo going this year. Only thing I worry about is the NFL zig-zag effect (play like crap one game, awesome the next).

Saints want revenge, and I think they'll get it. NO 31 - SF 24

I think your looking at this the right way. I see trap game all over this. First off, the saints defense isn't close to the level of the carolina panther's. The 49er's just suffered an embarrassing home loss to a team that majority thought was going to lose. They're going to come out fired up and ready to play. Frank Gore and Kaepernick will have a big day.

Don't base your pick solely on how well the saints play at home. The 49ers had lost two home games in the past two seasons prior to the panthers punching them in the mouth last sunday. Not to mention the 49ers defense is top 5, they will pressure brees...my prediction 34-31 either way.
