I get Memphis +130 on ML on Monday. Talk about two teams with deceptive records, Cincinnati is 5-2, Memphis is 1-5, BUT...Cincinnati has faced the weakest schedule by far in the AAC as they rank 152nd in SOS according to Sagarin, and yet they are 3-4 ATS despite the weak schedule. That have faced just one team ranked in the Sagarin Top 100, and that was only 79th ranked Illinois who handed them one of their two losses convincingly 45-17! Memphis is ranked 65th in SOS, which is just OK but still considerably better than Cincinnati. Yet, Memphis has been in practically in every game, thanks to ranking 13th in the country in total defense. That defense held a Houston team that is averaging 42 points and nearly 500 yards per game to 247 yards a couple of weeks ago while losing only 25-15.
