Did Lester doctor the baseball last night????

It wasn't vaseline. There was no need for vaseline last night, it was cold out. I'm a diehard Sox fan but there was something on his glove. I have no idea what it is. He touched it twice, then touched his leg then his cap. Things that make you go hmmmmm....
noticed this when watching the game. figured it must be legal because it was very obvious on tv. looked like a green type of puddy. had it in his glove.
like i said, it was obvious to anyone watching tv. i thought it turned the ball green (light smeers of green). figured the cardinals noticed seeing as you could see light green smeers on the ball and no one said anything so i just assumed it was legal.
surely they have better video than that. i remember several shots where it was very obvious there was a green substance in his glove. And I only caught 6th and 7th inning. someone who has it tivo'd needs to check.

There are lots of reasons Matheny would have said nothing, even if he knew. If I have to explain this to you....
Anyway, if you're going to use a substance that doctors your pitches, how about not using the neon green variety. This is the World Series, buck up for something a little more subtle. You might as well just have a can of it sitting by the rosin bag.

with or without the guacamole, it was blowout. red sox got 8 runs. you aren't going to win if you give up 8 runs. it was 8-0 top of 9th... even if you say cards woulda got 5 runs off lester otherwise... they still lose by 3.

This has gone on for decades it is a part of baseball. Lester doctored the baseball get over it. I said the Cards would win the World Series. Boston pitchers are cheaters get over it.
