    Just a thought on Denver/Indy

I'm hearing Denver coach Fox is livid at Irsay, I mean not media hype, but honest to goodness pissed off, for the backhanded disrespectful things Irsay said about Peyton.

I'm thinking Fox tries to run it up and embarrass Indy Sunday in their dome.
    This is just a thought.

Should this thought process play a factor in my handicapping of this game?

Not In my opinion this in the NFL.

Manning does take his foot of the gas as it is.

Personally I don't even know why the broncos even have a HC or an offensive coordinator.

    this.

And John Fox never runs up the score.

Lets not forget Indy fans are loud and crazy.

    Public is on Denver.

    Broncos defense is vulnerable.

    and

Colts have a stout pass defense

    Everything irsay said is true.

Manning puts up beast numbers in the regular and he chokes in the playoffs.

Manning also made Indy relevant and put fans in the seats, and sold merchandise, and on and on and on.

Manning can't run the score up on teams that can strike back.

You are aware that Denver has the same amount of QB sacks (17) as Indy does, right?

Pagano pounds the rock, I bet they are up towards the top of the league in Rushing Attempts. To me this is just a great game to sit back and enjoy (a very rare thing in the NFL).

People are so quickly to forget what he did with Tebow, just look at the job Jack Del Rio has done with DRC.

Ok that's enough talk about the NFL, lol...

I wonder how fox will feel when denver loses in the playoffs this year again. He will say to himself" fukking irsay guy was right about this manning choker"

What's more funny for fox is he was closer to winning the superbowl with delhomme than he ever will be with peyton.

So they shoulda went in a different direction at the QB position, instead of landing Manning?

If Fox is pissed at Irsay, he should go headhunting after Luck Greg-Williams-style. That would be a gangster move.

Feel this is going to be a low scoring game.. Bailey back last week starting to get into a groove, and Miller back as well.. Trent Richardson trips on a piece of grass 9 out of 10 times, Indy's defense has been actually fairly respectable.. Best case scenario is a Denver wins by a FG a late drive by peyton. Peyton shows he wins games, Colts fans are happy with luck that he was able to hang around with Peyton. Smiles for everyone. Low scoring game is what I see.

It might be a valid angle if the line were 17 + and the Colts were garbage but as it is they aren't going to let up at anything close to the line.Under normal circumstances they wouldn't let up until about 3 tds up.

No taking manning was fine. He gets you in the playoffs/wins division titles etc. Then he finds a way to leave everyone dissapointed. If you were an adult( which you might have just become the last year or 2) you would know the peyton history. Go read up on it.

10 years ago, Manning threw 4 picks to a New England team that was not going to be denied.
That playoff loss was on Peyton.

That was 10 years ago, and that was the last time a Manning led Colt team lost a playoff game where you can actually point your finger at Peyton and say "this loss is on you"

Last year Jacoby Jones beat Denver's corner backs because they took for reasons unknown God awful angles and got beat like a drum.

Oh, I guess Peyton should have been in the defensive backfield on that play too?

God Laker Boy, you make it seem like every playoff loss Peyton has been in, is all his fault.

You need 20 dollars pal, you know, to buy a clue?

How many points of offense did Peyton generate for his team in the Raven loss last year?

So Flaco is better than Manning
And how many of the Raven points were scored by or as a result of Raven defense?
Now answer this, did Flaco generate more points than Manning, or was Flaco helped out big time by shoddy Bronco defense?

    You can't fix stupid.

Come on Irsay was talking more along the lines that he wished the franchise had put better special teams and defensive units around Peyton, then they would have won more than 1 SB w/him.

Too bad it took that idiot till 2013 to realize this.

Actually, after the 2003 AFC championship, you can blame him in:

'04 (ya know, the year Manning broke the td record and then put up 3 whole points against the Pats in the playoffs),

'05 (undefeated team until something like Week 15 or 16 and then put up 18 pts against an inferior Steelers squad),

'07 (when he threw a few picks and lost as a double digit fave at home),

'09 (when he threw the pick 6 to lose the Super Bowl),

and last year when he threw a crucial INT in OT.

Nasher doesn't care when manning fukks up. Its always someone elses fault. How about manning find ways to win some of these playoff games. Oh wait it won't matter cause the team around is never good enough. You know the same team that is always favored to win the fukking bowl when the reg season charade is going on. Actually if you think about it manning is lucky to even have won the 1 superbowl over Rex grossman. If the bears had a decent qb they would have won that game.

Anyways its okay manning is the best reg season qb ever.

As an owner I can understand where Irsay is coming from, cheap shot or not. You have the arguable the best QB of all time or more like Top 3, If Montana won multiple rings, and Brady won multiple rings, it's only natural for him to have wanted Peyton to have won multiple. REgardless of fault, we all know in this league, the QB gets all the glory or all the blame.
