    More NFL on Thursdays?

It's bound to happen since the NFL's mulling it over

    Doesn't mean it's a good idea

Has to be approved by the NFLPA. It'll never pass unless the NFL is willing to share quite a bit more of the pie.

it's gonna happen gueye and long term its not smart

    and this is silly

Potential buyers of the games would likely be national cable sports networks. But league officials have also considered selling the Thursday night package to a nontraditional media partner, including online players like Netflix Inc. or Google Inc.

I'd prefer one game Thursday and one game Friday.

Thursday night games are god awful. Just another example of the diluted product that is the NFL.

the games are usually sloppy and not well executed on thurs......but if the NFL is on, the country watches

and NFL cant play on fridays because then no one would watch friday night high school football. Same reason they dont play on saturdays
Schools would just get mad and make the nfl look bad because their games would empty, and they would get no national media attention.

If a game was on at 3 am between Jacksonville and Buffalo.....I would watch and it would still have a higher rating than the World Series.

Thursdays are stupid. Only Thursday games should be two traditional Thanksgiving games. Lions/Cowpukes.

Teams that are coming off byes need to play on Thursdays. 10 days of no football is enough. No need for 14 days between games.

This is actually a pretty good idea

There are what...7 or 8 bye weeks so you can have that many Thursday games

    That's plenty

It's most likely not going to happen. What will probably end up happening is the NFL Network will sell 5-6 of their games to the highest bidder. They can't sell all (assuming 15 or 16) games because of prior agreements/fees with cable/satellite companies.

I do think London and/or Mexico City will have an NFL team by 2020 though...

I'd be in favor of a few Monday night doubleheaders occasionally.
