This isn't the 49ers team from a year ago

Talk about a Super Bowl hangover. Difference a year makes.

Kaper is not a big time QB

They look like a 500 type team

    Still Superbowl contenders 100%.

You don't play a season in 3 games.

The fluke season was the year before that, the way the Giants beat them in the Nfc Finals.
You can't say a team who's basically been there 2 years in a row is a fluke. Pretty dumb.

Agreed. Even if the smurf was worth the hype, defenses adjust, and he can't count on always shaking loose.

The 49ers did have the advantage of having Kap new to the defenses last year, so as you say they won't be the same team. I'd still take him over Alex Smith though and let's give him some time to develop as well. He hasn't even played a full season yet.

Sf pummeled tonight. One big win next week and the forum will be back on them again.
    SF WILL win that division.
They WILL contend for that trophy.

first 14 calendar weeks of the nfl doesn't matter. whoever gets hot and healthy in the last 3 weeks ends up going deep.

the first 14 weeks is essentially a preseason where you need to pray your "healht stars" line up for the last 3 games and you are in the playoff race

niners will start barking late in the year. until then this is nothing but another win in the standings. nothing to see here.

Niners are still upper echelon, just not as consistent. The niners best is still better than 30+ teams best

Too bad the Niners let their best QB go to KC.

Kap will be forgotten in 2 years.

So they barely beat the Rams last year and this year they were supposed to be improved and get smoked at home by the Niners B team.
