What are the top 5 College Football coaching jobs?

    SI says

    1. Texas
    2. Ohio State
    3. Oklahoma
    4. Florida
    5. Georgia

Alabama, USC, Michigan, Notre Dame, LSU?

Two of them should be opening up soon...

    SI is retarded.

Oklahoma a better job than Florida and USC?

Try recruiting talent to Oklahoma---Florida and USC can travel 12 miles and fill their rosters with 5-star talent.

    1. Texas
    2. Alabama
    3. USC
    4. Ohio State/Michigan
    5. Ohio State/Michigan

One knock on Bama is that the expectations are sky high. Tuscaloosa is also a crap hole to live in compared to some of these other locations.

Ever been out to Lake Tuscaloosa? Majestic area to live in. You should see Saban's property on the water.

Texas is probably the best job in cfb unlimited recruiting budget money backing you all the talent you could ever want in state live in Austin....USC close second pete did right live on beach date some young hunny live so cal lifestyle its Usc it basically recruits itself as long as you don't have some Lame (kiffan) running the program that turns recruits off. Not so sure about Oklahoma ....seriously who the fukk wants to live in Oklahoma??

I think Oregon is one of the best jobs ....Eugene is underrated Home crowd is the best on the west coast Nike money phil knight backing if you haven't taken a look at the ducks facilitys youtube it basically what every other school wishes they had. Not sure how a kid visits and says no to Oregon. Chip Kelly really fukked up when left Oregon don't care how much more hes making he could have been on easy street walking on water now he has egg on face so far. Oregon is laid back west coast cool fukk an SEC job unless you can recruit like Miles or Saban the fan bases are too damn crazy that's whats cool about the Texas job its in the south but they don't really have to deal with the Sec nut jobs.

Ohio State isn't even in the top 10. And Georgia I had to get up off the ground from laughing so hard after reading that one.

Top 5 jobs in college football is real easy.

    In no particular order

    Texas
    Alabama
    Florida
    USC
    Louisiana State University

    Here is why

Texas- Have the largest endowment of any major conference football university. Have there own tv network. Austin is a beautiful city. The state of texas is rich in football, even though it is not even close to as good as people make it out to be.

Alabama- The tradition is unlike any others. Have from what ive seen as one of the top 2 facilities in the country. One of the nicest campuses in the United States, people who have never been would be astonished at how nice it has gotten. Look back the past 5 years and see how many first round picks the state has produced, its staggering. Bear Bryant and Nick Saban the two best coaches that have roamed the side lines.

USC- USC is a national brand. Every kid in america is familiar with the program from California all the way to maine. Can recruit wherever they want. Ive heard the facilities are crap but obviously being in LA helps ease those concerns. Easily a top 3 program in the history of college football with its history.

FLorida- The state that produces the most D1 football talent. Enough said. Want to talk about a dump? Go hang around Gainesville for a few days and then stop by FSU to see how crappy those areas, campuses, and facilities are. If you havent been there you just assume there nice by how the y recruit and how good they are in football. You will be extremely disappointed after visiting these schools along with Miami.

LSU- This is the state that has the BEST football talent in the country. Doesnt produce the most, but produces the best. Go back and look over the past 10 years the players to come from that state, its insane. I believe they have more players on NFL rosters then any other state. Think about that. The kids from Louisiana just look different IMO. Alabama has a kid this year named Collins who just looks like a kid who should be on LSU team. Long, Big, and athletic the state has just produced physical freaks.

fukk an SEC job unless you can recruit like Miles or Saban the fan bases are too damn crazy that's whats cool about the Texas job its in the south but they don't really have to deal with the Sec nut jobs.

oh and if you dont think Texas fans are nuts, go on one of there forums. They are the worst. Almost as delusional as Notre Dame fans. For a school that has only one 4 titles they sure think there something.

I went to Tuscaloosa last year and had three separate conversations with 3 different 400lb guys in overalls about coach Bear. If you're the coach there you can't even go out in public. Screw that.

LSU and Alabama? Enjoy your millions, but you're stuck in the butthole of the 1st world. Mostly uneducated, religious, fat, sweaty walmart shoppers. This is who lives in the south.

Texas fans aren't like SEC fans I lived there for a bit not even close to the same pressure at texas as a top elite sec teams fan base... its not life and death in Texas or they wouldn't let this nonsense go on have you checked Macks record since he won that NC.... no top tier Sec school is going to let that go on that long. Texas lol

    Texas - $$$$$$/Recruiting/location
    Ohio State - $$$/Recruiting/location
    Florida - $$$/Location/Recruiting/Location
Bama - Standards (although, soon the job will be as bad as notre dame as far as unrealistic expectations).
    USC - Recruiting

You can only recruit certain types of kids to ND this is fact some of those SEC kids come from some shady pasts ....sick football programs i'd rather be somewhere warm then you have to follow in the shadow of joepa most big time coachs are trying to start or continue their legacy nobody wants to follow what happened there. ND fan base still thinks its the 90s where they can just pluck all the studs from Cali Corey minor joey getherall and others... kellys doing a great job of recruiting at ND but hes still not going to win them at championship at ND. ND has NBC kids are on TV a lot that helps but there are kids they just cant land.

    1. Texas
    2. Florida
    3. USC
    4. Georgia
    5. Ohio St

Recruiting the name of the game. Best high school football in all of the land in theses states so that's where I'm coaching.

I can't see Notre Dame being a top job. The expectations from fans make it a "be a legend and take us to titles unreasonably often - or GTFO".

Reminds me of UCLA in basketball.

University of Miami should be #1. Best town to live in. Who the hell wants to live in the boonies of Alabama or the desert of Oklahoma?

I didnt even realize Notre Dame still had a football team. Most over hyped school, team, fans in the World. This aint 1964 anymore. Most over rated job in america. No one under the age of 50 even remembers ND being good. There are 10 SEC jobs that are better and bigger then the ND job. There isnt ONE athletic kid on there team, not ONE. LOUISIANA PRODUCES MORE NFL TALENT THEN ANY STATE IN THE UNITED STATES. PA and OHIO region is that a joke who the hell is coming out of those areas in the past 10 years.

Have you ever been to the little Havana campus? Have you seen Miami's facilities? Worst facilities in the United States and there isnt even a close second. I'd need to give my kids a hand gun if he was going to go to that dump. But this is the attitude the world has, people dont realize how beautiful campuses such as auburn, UGA, Bama, LSU are. Been to every major campus in the country Stanford, UNC, Bama, UVA, UTexas are all comparable.

I live in New York City, the reason why people from the SEC abuse all these other conferences is because of the stupid statements people make about the culture down there. There are fat and un educated people every where. Walk down the street in NYC, 90 percent of the people are fat.

If you guys dont think that LSU and Bama isnt a top job and consider ohio state, ND, florida state, michigan which are all rinky dink programs ahead of them then brace yourself for the next 20 years. The best two teams EVERY year are LSU and Bama. People think Bama's run is ending and stuff this is only the start. And thats considering that this years team stinks.

We have won more titles the past 4 years then michigan, ohio state have in 30+ years. And Urban aint winning one any time soon.

We have the most tradition, most national titles, nicest facilities, one of the nicest stadiums, and the 2 best coaches to ever walk a sidelines. Texas cant even hold our jock strap the more i think about it while writing this. We are the best.

    WE OWN COLLEGE FOOTBALL.
