    I think GT is the better team, but VT isn't bad. Top 35ish team.

    7 is a key number, so there is that, but my main sticking issue is laying points like this in a rivalry game that essentially will decide the Coastal division.

    GT should win, but a ML play is dumb here IMO.

    I feel pretty strongly about GT tonight... I live in Atlanta and while this is not a team I support... I am getting a really good vibe from this team... Vad Lee is a true superstar in the making and Ted Roof has this defense miles ahead of where they were last year.

    They could have easily gone in the tank against UNC but found a way to win (and cover). They are expecting a great crowd tonight and I think the Jackets will perform...

    I watched the GT UNC game and I've also seen VT play twice this year. GT's defense is good enough to prohibit VT's offense from putting up more than 14 points. As good as VT's defense is, having only 3 days to prepare is a tough assignment, especially against GT's style of offense. The key for VT will be not to have so many 3 and outs. GT is good at controlling the time of possession and the wear you out in the 3rd and 4th. I think we'll see a final of GT-24 VT-14

    From what i've seen, VT is anemic on offense. Maybe they have some luck running the ball, but that qb is slightly better than an all state high school qb. Big revenge factor as VT has kicked GT in the nards for quite some time now. In the end though, i could see a backdoor cover of somesorts. Teasing both sides with the Bears on sunday with 1.5 units on the GT/BEARS and 3/4ths unit on VT/BEARS. GT-1 and VT +13. Come on 2-12.

    wow, i didn't manage to post it in my picks thread but i was on GT........

    these great trends (VT can't do anything on offense) have to come to an end sometime. after all, coaches make adjustments and so forth.

    another example of UNDER (VT) meets OVER (i think of GT that way even if recent #s don't bear out)... it seems good defense beats good offense. not sure about lousy O vs. D.
