    Ben Tate to Cleveland?

    I like it.

Tate, even though he respects Foster, doesn't like carrying his water, feels he should be a feature back elsewhere.

I agree with him, he deserves better than second string.

According to an ESPN report, the Browns are thinking of dealing with receivers Josh Gordon and Greg Little. It's becoming more clear that Browns' CEO Joe Banner and general manager Michael Lombardi were not pleased with the personnel they inherited upon arriving to Cleveland.
This comes just a few days after the organization surprisingly dealt running back Trent Richardson to Indianapolis for a first-round pick. To fill the roster spot, the Browns signed Willis McGahee the next day.
As for the future at running back, the Browns, according to the report, are looking at ways to bring in Texans running back Ben Tate to be the starter for the future. Tate will be a free agent after the 2013 season.
The Browns appear to have placed an emphesis on the future as opposed to the 2013 season.

True, Tate is an upgrade, but he is not Adrian Peterson.

The more I think about this trade the more I like it for the Browns.

RB's are a dime a dozen. Wasting the #3 pick on Richardson is a sunk cost. They made a mistake. The Colts spending a pick around 20 on Richardson is also a mistake. 2 wrongs don't make a right.

The NFL is not fantasy football and the Browns did the right thing getting a 20 pick for Richardson.

Tate thinks he's good because of that offensive line. You get spoiled and start thinking and appearing better than you really are.
Will be a 2.5 yard average on the Browns.

Running backs don't win superbowls. Neither guys matter in the grand scheme of the league.

Teams win super bowls with guys like Ahmad Bradshaw, James Starks, and Ben Jarvis Green Ellis and then don't bother at resigning them. The Ravens are a different example.

Browns will not be doing anymore trades. Confirmed.

That would have been a horrible trade IMO. Josh Gordon is an absolute stud at the WR slot. Him and Jordan Cameron are going to be 2 great picks for this team. Jordan just needs to get his head out his ass and stop smoking the chronic. He could be an elite type WR if he smarts up.

    Jordan is a Junior Gronk.
Gordon has sky high talent also
They have the best LT in the game.

Build around those guys and keep stockpiling talent on defense.

I love just about every post you make, you are everything right about SBR, but I disagree.
SB's are won with a good ground game and defense, just my opinion though.

'85 Bears, all defense and Walter Payton.
'86 Giants, all defense, Joe Morris in the backfield.

    etc. etc. etc.
