9/17 MLB- The bailout play for you if you had a bad weekend. Redsux -122

If you need to get out of the trap after a bad weekend, I like this game today.

Dumpster and the Redsux seems like solid gold.
Did I say Dumpster is solid gold? Yeah, I said it.
Feldman has the kind of stuff that the Redsox will pound for 6 or 7 runs. He's meatball central here.

Dumpster has been great vs. Balt this year. One of the few teams he can say he's kept under control.
Feldman pitched again the sux once and got bombed, I expect this again today.

Redsox are still the surprise team of the year IMO. They keep pounding out the runs. Look for plenty of em in tonight's game, and the Redsux winning this possible HR derby battle.

One of the best home teams in MLB vs. a meatballer at only -122?
    LOVE IT.
    GL today boys.

    REDSUX -122 DUMPSTER

Line is still dropping. From -140 down to around -118 to -122 now. I'd hold off a little longer. Can we see -110 by gametime?

I`m pounding Baltimore tonight. After sweeping the yankess they are going to be in a more relaxed mode, not the urgency for a playoff spot like Baltimore.

Honestly bro, the Mets are a SOLID price today.
Petit sucks trust me. Has no right to be laying road wood against Wheeler.
If I had to choose, I'd be on the home dog there.

High-paced roulette? What casinos offer it? Will play a bit on Boston if Nats win game 1 this afternoon.

I am on Orioles +114. Dempster has not been that good vs. Baltimore, he faced them three times and went 5 and 5.1 innings in two of the starts, and the one time he went 7.2 innings, he issued five walks and labored through 122 pitches (in other words, typical Dempster). Feldman struggled his first six starts with Baltimore after coming back to the American League from the Cubs, but he has been insane in his six starts since then, 1.77 ERA and 0.93 WHIP with 31 strikeouts vs. 12 walks. He is the reason the line is dropping.

"His club now faces Ryan Dempster, whose 2.01 lifetime ERA against the Orioles is easily his lowest against any AL opponent. He's 1-1 in three matchups this season with a 2.50 ERA."

i really liked boston last night but i'm passing.

But as I said, that ERA doesn't mean anything because of the limited innings. The nine walks in 18 innings that caused those outings to be cut short are probably more relevant.

Nuts the line is moving from -140 to -123 at Vegas insider
    with more bets on Boston.

I still love Boston but why the line move not in our favour but again it's baseball and ill take the hotter bats and the dumpster that owns Balt.

I am a Baltimore homer and I won't bet against my team...I was laying off this game but the line movement makes me want to lay a little on the O's...I won't but it makes me want to. Any chance they move the lines for this effect--kind of like reverse psychology?

I got burned on that MNF 'Over' last night, apparently Roethlisberger forgot how to play the QB position, thought they would respond after that dismal week 1 performance... NAAAWWWWT. There was no amount of capping to make up for that shit-fest last night.

With that said - against Baltimore Dempster has a solid WHIP and lower ERA but he has not lasted more than 5.1 innings and his previous outing IN Boston the game easily went over the total of 9, but that was in September.

In Feldman's only start against Boston he surrendered 6 hits for 4 ER in just 4 innings, in a 7-3 loss.

Boston has averaged 6.4 runs in their last 5 games.

I am leaning 'Over' in this game.

But I'll most likely be a spectator in this game, still pissed off.

    GL on Boston.

Nah they move the lines because someone has big money on Baltimore. Benny I like it but something's not right.

I know that's the way lines are supposed to work, but people have said the money is on Boston, and the money was supposed to be on MD against UConn, but the line moved opposite. MD covered and I really don't see the angle on a large bet on the Orioles here unless somebody thinks that because tonight is when they will be locked out of a division win that they'll wake up and start scoring tonight after half-stepping since the allstar break. Just doesn't make sense.

That is literally the way line movement works. Stop over thinking it. Bookies don't waste their time trying to play mind games with their customers. If you feel that way, there might be something wrong with you. We don't know who is going to win and neither do the books.

So when people say "87% of public money is on..."--that info can't be accurate.
