    Local Book Raises Juice from -110 to -115 for upcoming football seasons

    Do I stick with it? I don't want to have to go online and risk pay-outs, etc. The 5 cents could be big

    Online isn't as sketch as you think. That being said if you have a local take that. Payouts cost money online, sometimes over 10% of what you are taking out. Online will add much more than 5cents as well. Online has NFL spreads at -135 on occasion and -115 and -120 religiously.

    No, don't accept that vig. It is too high. Ask him for the vig level you had in years past. If he doesn't accept, then don't play. Vig of -15 or higher (for locals), usually are used for the lesser bet on sports in the U.S., like soccer and such. Unless your bookie focuses on accepting soccer bettors as his mainstay.

    what online is good for american players? so you are saying that the payout fees will end up being > than the 5% increase in juice i'd pay locally?

    If your someone who deposits the min and wants a payout every week after you win then yes it will be too much to outrun. However, if you play any sort of volume for any amount whatsoever than the -115 will be substantially more costly in the long run.

    He does post some stale lines. I just loaded up a little on 5dimes, but im going to keep an eye on his lines to see if they are so far off that there is value in taking them even at -115

    5dimes and heritage pay me out within 48 hrs everytime. The payout fee is peanuts if you are withdrawing a good chunk of change. You can hit a parlay for a 100k and not have to worry about being paid either. Depending on the local I always feel sketched out winning anything over 10k. Been screwed in the past. It's hard enough stringing together that good run or that great parlay to make the big bucks. Why not guarantee yourself a payout in case you do catch fire?

    for the record, i have played ncaab totals with this guy that have been 10 points off the off-shore number, and cfb spreads that have been up to 6 points off, so yes the -115 is worth it in some cases. going to use the sbr half-point calculator that most of the idiots in players talk dont know about
