    yeah that was awesome ....so awesome I had to wake up my girl and replay it for her 4 times then twice in slow mo she didn't appreciate it as much as me kid popped up like that shit didn't phase him but he wasn't on that steady of legs you can tell that hurt ALOT.

    Honestly, I can't even tell if it's illegal or not. I just know that's what it was ruled.

    I have no idea how they rule these things when they're happening at such high speeds.

    Even watching this gif, countless times, I'm not even sure how you can say with absolute certainty it was illegal.

    When he is looking straight down when he made the hit, it made it illegal. I also think the crown of his helmet is probably too low, but that is debatable.

    You simply have to be looking at your target when you destroy it. Keeps you from being a Cecil-like missile.

    Guys can still light someone up legally, it just takes a lot of practice and dedication.

    That's a good question. All the instructional video's emphasize that that the hitter see what he hits. So, I guess simply hitting what you're not looking at isn't "illegal" per se, but it's damning if the hit is questionable. It's also dangerous for the hitter to hit like this, as it causes insane pressure on the neck.

    Not sure the NFL knows how to define it, except "they know it when they see it". (Famous quote from a porn case)
