Say you are an outstanding capper who hits 55 to 60% of all your picks. Obviously your bankroll will determine how much you make hourly, but lets take into consideration all the costs that you incur. Do you subscribe to a service of any kind to help you in making your plays? How much time do you spend researching each pick? How many sporting events do you watch on TV that you would never watch if you didn't have action on that game? How much do you pay in fee's to receive a payout? Has a book, such as BI ever full out scammed you and taken your money?
After looking into these considerations (I realize there are more costs that I am missing) how much money do you actually make an hour? Would you be better off working a minimum wage job for your time? Here at least you could network, make some friends (other than SBR degens), maybe even meet a woman that you don't have to pay for her time.
Oh and as for the losers out there, unless you solely consider this a hobby, you should definitely invest your time elsewhere!
