    Monster rotation though.

Brandon Beachy healthy is a beast. Almost Strasburg good.
Medlen went 10-1 last year with ridiculous low across the board numbers.
Hudson and Hanson are quality, pro pitchers.

In the 'pen name a better 1-2 combination than Venters setting up Kimbel?
    Bet you can't

yeah you can't argue with the Braves talent. but for whatever reason they haven't been clutch when it counts.

very similar to the yankees in recent years.

Without looking at the stats wasn't upton hitting between .220 and .250 the last few years? I seem to remember him and Evan Longoria getting into a fight in the dugout. Upton was a top pick that never lived up to his "potential". I don't think he's worth anywhere near 15 million and Bourn is a much better hitter will hit around .300 and he's faster and not a jack ass.

    well then again maybe not....

Braves even thinking of asking him to accept a demotion to the minors at this point. I'm not sure how you can do that when the guy is out of option years

.146 batting average, 109 points below his seven-year career mark with Tampa Bay.

Simple math says the problem is they signed a career.255 hitter to a 15 million dollar a year contract.

Rays know when to sign 'em (Loney, K. Johnson), know when to let 'em go (Crawford, Upton)

I think at this point, they'd gladly settle for .255 out of him..

It's damn hard to hit .146. You really have to work hard to maintain anything below about .175.
