More over-rated than a 28 year old draft pick who might not throw an N.F.L. pass?
    perhaps.

He will run everyone over, blocking will not matter. You don't need to block.

Seems like it would have made more sense to get the already established chemistry of blackmon and weeden and go for a rb later... especially knowing they're in desperate need of a no. 1 reciever.

No way of telling trents value at this point on a team that severely needed more than just a rb on offense, but the reality is the browns offense sucked and he should make it alot better I predict 7-9 or 8-8 this year for the brownies. And for the record... I think Weeden will be an immediate upgrade at qb for this team. Colt McCoy simply not the right fit in this division.

You draft that old ass in the first round, he is starting, because you have to get production from him now.

Browns are looking to perhaps trade McCoy.

He'll fit well in Cleveland...durable and DOES NOT FUMBLE. As a Bama fan I'll say he's better than Ingram was and is.

Easily a 1000+ yard rusher this season. Book it.

this is a passing league now.
giants, GB, saints all won superbowls with passing offenses
each of those teams had a good group of WR's, TE's, and probowl qbs

greg little can be an animal...hell continue to develop....blackmon is overrated imo...the same way crabtree was overrated coming out.....those guys arent in the same class as megatron, fitz, andre, aj green etc

Were #4 picks in 2005 Cedric Benson and in 2008 Darren McFadden worth it? That answers it for me.

ohhh...so because he was the fourth pick he wont amount to anything? but if he were the 5th pick or the 7th pick like LT or AD hed be ok?

You seriously think this guy is going to be better than LT or AD?! In any case, I wouldn't take those guys that high either. It's simply not a RB league anymore. The rules favor the passing game and decent RBs can be found further down the draft board.

Averaging 3.6 ypc which makes him one of the worst backs in the league.

Give a turd that many carries and he'll have just as many yards.

Twiz was not saying the guy was trash. You are misunderstanding him people. How many successful NFL franchises are drafting running backs in the first Round let along that early and trading up for him.

So Richardson is ranked 13th. Let's go through the 12 guys ahead of him in rushing yards:

Peterson - #7 overall pick. He is the exception as I stated in my first post because he is a game-changing running back.

Foster - Undrafted. Need I say more?

Lynch - 1st rd. #12 overall. Took him a while to get going but finally showing his worth as a 1st round selection.

Martin - 1st rd. #31 overall. Nearly made it to the second round but has been one of the best running backs in the league in his only his rookie season.

Morris - 6th rd; Has been a huge part of the success of the Skins offense.

Johnson - 1st rd. #24 overall; very good player but team's seem to have caught up

Ridley - 3rd rd; Just another guy the Pats inserted and has had a ton of success this season.

Charles - 3rd rd; If not for an injury he would be considered a top 4 or 5 back over the past 3 seasons.

Gore - 3rd rd; One of the most reliable backs over the past 6 or 7 seasons

Spiller - 1st rd #9 pick; Certainly has not paid off yet. Jury is still out. Looks like he's on the verge of becoming a very good back.

Rice - Late 2nd rd.; Has emerged as a top 5 back over the course of the last few seasons. Very versatile.

Green-Ellis - Undrafted; Solid back for a few years now.

It's only Richardson's first year but does anyone really see this guy being worth the trade up and #3 overall selection?

You got any thoughts on Alex Collins, Jeff Scott, Rajion Neal, TJ Yeldon, any other sec/ncaa backs getting ready to come out.

Yep, for a #3 overall, Richardson was a bust in Cleveland based on trading him for a mid 1st in 2014.
