I know you probably think the Canucks are almost a lock to advance far due to last year, but a big 10 units bet on this series I cannot agree with

I think LA has a decent chance. Not because they are good but because vancouver could be this years fraud.

WTF Lakerboy. They not only accumulated more points that any other the other teams 2 years in a row over a long hard season and made it to the 7th game in last years final. I suggest that you really don't understand the meaning of the word pussy. I hope you didn't place too much of your money on the series.

Dwightshrute we know canucks fans are tough beating down retail shops. Van caved in last year in the final when the going got tough. Sedin twins soft as melted ice cream. Luongo a "sieve" in big games.

Van is the least feared big 100 point team out there. Kings is the worst matchup for them. Watch and see.

    Kings in 6 games.

anything can happen in the NHL playoff as we know but you are so wrong on 2 things you say. Firstly, Sedins? Come on. Was Wayne Gretzky soft? Lemieux? Is Jagr? Of course he wasn't. Not all guys fight. I expect more from posters like you.

Secondly, Luongo has 60 career shutouts (2nd behind Brodeur I believe) and he helped his team to game 7 of the cup finals with 2 shout outs in the finals.

We can argue all day long my friend but luongo was awful in the finals. How many goals did he allow in the other 5 games?

btw is ottawa gonna score 4 or more goals the whole series vs the rangers?
    Your whole argument is flawed.
You really sound like an idiot.

I guess we watched the Stanley Cup Final game 7. Which featured Canucks. THey played up until the last game of the year......while every other team in the league was sitting on there ass watching them. They made it that far last year. They will sweep the Kings. If anything that promotes a revenge factor.

Kings too fast AND too physical for Canucks? Im pretty canucks are one of the fastest teams there are. THey may not fight but they can hit and skate around teams.

jeez atleast have some good insight.

Good insight now consists of predicting a 1 seed to sweep a 8 seed. Wow. Last year is so relevant to this year isn't it?

Nhl playoffs first round is the home of underdogs. Hence the low line on van to open at -165.

I'm gonna laugh so hard at all the canuck backers when la wins the series.

Don't bet Kings, just burn your money instead. If it was the Blackhawks, I can see Van having trouble with them, as they've struggled in the past.

This has 5 game series written all over it. LB your not really using the facts accurately.

Kings will win the series. Even if they don't ( which I don't which I don't believe at all) I could easily see myself getting van at + money at somepoint in the series and still winning.

How did they do last year???

King are a solid squad but they cannot tie the Nucks skates if the Nucks play there game and Luongo plays solid.

No, good insight is not predicting an underdog to win a series. I love underdogs. Just cause Vancouver seem "square" that does not make them the wrong play in this series.

Every teams mentality is to try and be physical with Vancouver. Yet there still the best team in hockey over the last few years.

Kings are a borderline playoff team that without the acquisition they made at the trade deadline they are sitting home right now talking about the offseason.

Jeff Carters status in this series is huge, without him the Kings do not have a chance.

If Luongo chokes, no big deal, Canucks have Schneider who has a better save percentage than Quick.

Canucks are also alot tougher and alot deeper in key positions compared to last year. This year they have extra D-men who can play in case of injuries (Alberts, Rome, Gragnani, Tanev) Ballard is also expected to be back from a concussion. Additions of Kassian, Booth and Weise add the toughness they lacked last season.

Canucks are a well balanced team, Kings are not, period.

If you're being sarcastic then you're a fukking goof. You're biggest criticism of VAN is how they played last year. So if now you're saying it's trivial, then you really are a bigger idiot than most people thought.

There isn't a single aspect to the game of hockey where LA is better than VAN. Not a single one. From playoff experience to depth to speed to consistency, LA isn't an outright winner in any category.

You contradict yourself. You mention how bad they are in game 7 of the stanley cup........then you tell me since I believe its a revenge spot for them since theyve been waiting for the playoffs since that embaressment of game 7...........that I am wrong because last year doesnt matter.

Keyboarding you are a retard. As a can hockey fan you should know better than most what you said means nothing in the nhl playoffs. God you sound so retarded. Read your post again.

All these van backers are so ignorant. Why would la want carter- the guy never shows up in the playoffs. He helped get them in and now he can dissapear and it won't matter.

    Quick will stonewall the nucks.
