Peyton Mannings former QB Coach was hired by AZ Feb.8th

To all the donkies buying the hype on Washington and Miami. Future bet AZ and thank me later. Frank Reich hired Febr. 8th.....NFL first preseason game AZ x New Orleans? Its AZ and the rest is laughable. Irsay fired him this year and he is trying to get Wayne and Peyton in ASAP. Word is AZ would trade it's first pick for Jeff Saturday.

Don't know how popular Schaub is in the locker room but put Manning on Houston and they're the AFC favorite. Its not like Schaub ever stays healthy anyway? Its an easy 5-1 or 6-0 within the division (prob for the rest of PMs career) vs Jax, Indy, and Tenn all playing young QBs.

They already split w/SF without PM.....and what we're hearing in Indy is that Reggie Wayne is tagging along too.

I'm sure Roger Goodell and the boys wouldn't mind seeing PM/Brady twice a year again with Miami. PM has never had a big physical guy like Brandon Marshall or a RB with wheels out of the backfield like Reggie Bush.

hes also has never had the luxury of playing on a team where defense alone can win it which is why az is best fit

Houston is the best fit if it comes down to defense. That team might win it all with Schaub if he could ever stay healthy.

houston can't fit manning, they can't even resign williams more than likely. If you are talking D, Miami D is more talented (with exception of p.peterson) and better, disregard first 7 games and look at the numbers they put up the rest of the season, when they went 6-3. That D is underrated and it pains me to say that because if they get manning they will be a big pain for the patriots

Reggie Wayne has called South Florida home every offseason since entered the league back in 2001, and sources say the former Miami Hurricanes standout is open to making Miami his in-season home, signing with the Miami Dolphins.
Could Reggie Wayne and Peyton Manning be a package deal?
Wayne, a five-time Pro Bowler with the Indianapolis Colts, become an unrestricted free agent on March 13. He could become part of a package deal that includes future Hall of Fame quarterback Peyton Manning, who will be released by the Colts today. The source said Manning and Wayne have not spoken specifically about landing in the same city, playing for the same team. But they realize its a possibility, one they would favor because of their friendship and on the field bond. Neither are expected to re-sign with Indianapolis. The Dolphins aren’t actively looking for more receivers, but considering Manning is the team’s top quarterback target General Manager Jeff Ireland might be willing to pair Wayne with Brandon Marshall and Davone Bess.Brian Hartline, who caught 35 passes for 549 yards and scored one touchdown last season, would likely lose his starting spot to Wayne, who is 33. But it’s possible Hartline, who enters the final year of his rookie deal, could remain in the receiver rotation.Wayne caught 75 passes for 950 yards and four touchdowns in 2011, and that was a down year for this three-time All-Pro selection, who didn’t have Manning throwing to him for the first time in 11 seasons. Before 2011 the New Orleans native produced seven straight seasons of 1,000 or more receiving yards.Wayne has primarily worked from the left side of the field, which could be a challenge for the rest of the team’s playmakers. The free agent market is flooded with quality receivers, and the draft is also stocked with young talent. That makes it a challenge to determine how much Wayne’s worth on the open market. It’s likely that his camp will seek a contract comparable to the three-years, $15 million deal his former UM teammate, Santana Moss, got from the Washington Redskins last year. That deal included a $5 million signing bonus and $6 million in guarantees from the Redskins. The cap hit on that deal would be about $2.67 million in the first season.Considering the Dolphins have approximately $15 million in cap space to work with – without restructuring contacts – it’s possible the Dolphins will need to get creative to create salary cap space for Manning and Wayne. It’s also possible Manning’s center, Jeff Saturday, who is also a free agent, might be interested in playing for the team that signs Manning. The Dolphins could address some of its offensive line issues by signing Saturday and moving Mike Pouncey, last year’s first-round pick, to right guard.Fellow Colts receiver Pierre Garcon, another South Florida native, is also a free agent. However, his age and productivity would likely make his price tag much higher than what it would cost to land Wayne.

He needs a good team also not like Indy

KC might be able to get in the mix too? AFC West is horrible and not getting better anytime soon. They have some nice talent returning too like Jamal Charles, Moaki, and Eric Berry.

I think they're way under the cap too so Peyton, Jamal Charles, Dwayne Bowe, Reggie Wayne, McCallister, and Tony Moeki easily crushes the AFC West.

You guys make it sound like Manning has won 10 super bowls, he's 8-10 in the playoffs with much better teams than these cardinals who will always be losers.

Only way he wins a super bowl if the nfl conspires to gift wrap him one for a going away present.

NFL will love it since they play the Packers and Patriots this year.

Hell no....I'd say there is atleast a 30% chance he can't even finish the season. I would say maybe 10 wins if he can play 14 games or more?

The more I read on KC the better I think that fit could be? They're 59 MILLION under the cap (3rd highest spendable amount in the NFL). How would Peyton Manning, Reggie Wayne, Vincent Jackson, and/or Mario Williams look on that team in that crappy division? I used to live in KC and they pack Arrowhead win or lose so those fans deserve it too.

KC is cold, nerves in neck definitely affected by cold. Fitzgerald in offseason trains with both Mannings every year.

This Peyton choker in the playoff thing has to go away? 2011 showed how many holes Indy really has. They've always been a undersized & soft dome team that had to throw on 3rd/2 and couldn't stop a run up the gut on 3rd/2 either. Elway never wins 2 rings if T Davis and a defense didn't show up. He still took 3 scrub teams to SBs which makes him a legend in my book.

KC 59 mil under the cap & Arizona is 12-14 mil under. Peyton would take the cold if it meant a better chance to win....its not Buffalo type cold anyway in KC.

Look at Peyton Manning's numbers in the cold.

Arizona makes sense. Miami too, but he doesn't play that well in the rain either.

I don't think Frank Reich as a qb coach, who if i remember correctly was a perennial backup in buffalo is gonna sway Manning. Give me a break, Reich was only qb coach starting in 08. Now if Tom Moore (Jets consultant) was there as a coach maybe.

Manning is not going to a NFC team, because of the possibility of him playing against his brother in the playoffs. Blocking one of their chances at a super bowl.

First off, you are on crack if you think AZ is going to trade a first round pick for a 36 yr old center.

Lastly, good thing you know your football; cause if you did you would know Jeff Saturday is an unrestricted free agent. Meaning he can sign with anyone.

Miami is going to throw boatloads of money at him, most likely with very few restriction clauses in his contract. And they will sign whoever Manning wants, which I doubt AZ has the cap space to do.

AZ will most likely have 7 million in cap room after signing rookies, and Miami will have around 10 mill after signing rookies. That 3 million could be the difference in signing Saturday, Wayne and even possibly Garcon (if they get creative).

The only team (showing interest) that really offers Manning the chance to be the immediate HUGE favorite to win the division is Kansas City. Houston & SF don't want him and Denver doesn't have near as many pieces in place as KC.

Peyton is going to Miami. He's not going to be be in the same conference as his brother. Duh. Although I wouldn't mind seeing him on the Texans or Ravens.

P.S. SBR Sportsbook only allows for 100 on this [type] wager.

LMAO Peyton manning a 37 year old guy with a fused neck, you are all deluded if you think he will be even close to what he once was. Which primarily was a stat QB and little else. The guy won one SB and people make him out to be some super star. He is Kevin Love basically a guy who can throw up a bunch of empty stats but in the end only had one successful season.

Now he is that guy with a broken neck, yeah keep dreaming.

hes going to miami, I dont know why anyone is arguing anything else. He wont play for washington, marshall faulk said that he would never try to ruin his brothers chance at success. manning has said that playing against his brother always wore on him. I mean jesus he says his favorite two qbs of all time are his dad and his brother. Miami plays at indy this year, wayne and him are working out in miami, he has a condo in miami. And seriously marshall, bush, manning and maybe blackmon with the draft pick. Stud team.

wins dont mean shit, look at Jacksonville in the late 90s they won more games than anyone,(ironically they were better than Indy most of those yearsin the same division) I dont see anyone talking about mark Brunell as some stud, had he won a SB it might be different but it didnt happen. Theyre one step from getting moved out of that place. after having an epic amount of wins for 5 or 6 years in a row. Similar to san diego recently, regular season wins are garbage.

As for this years guys quit, manning didnt play defense and that was the primary reason they lost like they did guys gave up. Then they went into lottery mode once it got out of control.

all that is irrelevant anyway. But it makes for good sports talk I guess. But all me when a single doctor with ties tot eh NFL or an NFL team even clears him to play. I havent heard shit about that, other than some doctor he claimed he saw who said he was OK to practice.

I will edit this, Minnesota Vikings also racked up a ton of wins back in the day, no one ever talks abotut them as some sort of dynasty either. manning came out f Tenn with a handle of not being able to win the big one. So I gues once he finally won a SB all was forgiven. With so many wins and so many decent teams he still didnt win more han one.
