Lebron says he would beat Kobe one on one

    http://network.yardbarker.com/all_sp...efmod=backyard

interesting. with all the talk of him having no rings and lockouts and whatnot, this is whats on his mind.

yes kobe is way past his prime while lebron is just entering it

kobe better basketball player, lebron better athlete

debatable who would win on a one on one but if you want someone to lead your team you need kobe, not that he has good leadership skills, they both suck at leadership, they are both selfish and egotistical and always want to get their way

but out of the two only one has a winners balls rolling around in his nutsack, the other has to take a secret peep in the lakers showers to get a look of what a winners nutsack looks like

Kobe from 9 years ago could beat him I think but hard to say 1 on 1 really means nothing about who is the best player

    no fukkin chance

I'll hate on Lebron as much as anybody else, but he would dominate Kobe 1 on 1

How is Kobe gonna stop Lebron's bullrush?? Not to mention he's a much better and more physical defender. Lebron's bullrush>>>Fadeaway Kobe jumpshots

it shows you whose the better individual 1 on 1 defender and better athlete/finisher around the rim

Lebron wins by a big margin there. He's the greatest talent to ever play the game of basketball...just a headcase when it comes to performing under the big situations (I'm NOT a lebron supporter, I hope he never wins anything but I'm just being realistic here)

Lebron is tearing up the Jewish league right now...wherever the fuk that league is.

Maybe one of the funniest stories of no nba. One of the Jews accused him of being anti Semitic the other day. Lmao

Who cares? Last I checked the NBA doesn't count 1 on 1 prowess. Lebron is an idiot.

If they played 1 on 1 and had a line for it I'd be all over LeBum. He's taller, stronger, and younger.

you can never really say who would win 1 on 1. some people worse than me have beaten me or come close to me 1 on 1 just depends on the rhythm. Kobe would just shoot threes (2 pts) and lebron would just drive everytime.

    complete nonsense

look at their defensive efficiency (points given up per 100 possessions) - Jordan and Lebron are in a class of their own in terms of perimeter defenders

I understand that, but Lebron's still the best perimeter defender in the game and probably the best perimeter defender ever outside of MJ

did you not see Lebron shut down my boy D Rose in the 4 quarter last year??

sadly I did watch him lock Rose down and stop the Bulls in their tracks. Just remember you cannot compare Kobe right now, go back to his prime to make these comparisons.

Lebron, as a regular season player, is right there with Michael Jordan in terms of all around game and efficiency

He's just a headcase and a choke artist when it comes to showing up under huge situations, that's why he'll never win anything

Listen, you're not going to argue with me about these types of discussions. I will win these debates every time. Lebron just became a great perimeter defender this year. In the past, Lebron was known as one of the best HELP defenders (like Ben Wallace was) rather than a great 1 on 1 defender.

Also, if your looking at stats, Kobe is first team defense almost every year of his career that he's started. Teams play different schemes. Lebron has so much room to get better. You have to realize this. Lebron is no where near Kobe all-time. Not even close yet. He will get there one day.

Suddenly, after the Olympics, Wade's, Lebron's, and Chris Paul's defense got twice as good. Do you know why? They used to watch Kobe's workout and were shocked by it. When they saw what he was doing on defense in practice, they all came out the next year and dominated defensively. all those guys were the best at their positions on the defensive end.

Lebron will never win anything? He will have a ring next year.

If you would take Kobe on your team as a defender (even if you're talking about prime kobe) over Lebron, you're just a fukking moron I'm sorry

Lebron has the athleticism/size/strength to guard nearly every point guard, shooting guard, small forward and power forward in the league. His defensive versatility alone makes him invaluable because you can play a very small lineup knowing that you can have him guard the opponent's power forward a lot of times

Lebron can't guard 90% of power forwards in the nba. also if you want to do that bet, lebron is not going to win anything. i guarantee that he'll win next year, and i'll banish myself from the forum forever if i lose and if i win i get a sum of sbr coins
