    80's Baseball Card Trivia

If you could specifically name all of these 80's baseball cards, you were down with collecting. This is more or less a trip down memory lane. If you could do it w/o researching it, give yourself a pat on the back. Just realized there is a trick question involved.

Remember when Gregg Jeffries was a hot card... nothing like opening the 83 donruss and getting the Boggs out of em.

    1991 Score

1982 Topps Traded Rookie Card (was on a shared rookie card in regular 1982 set, I still have around 20 of the original rookie cards and they have lost about 80% of the value for their high)

1984 Donruss Diamond Kings (Maybe 1982)

    1987 Donruss

    1989 Topps

C'mon. How did you know it was a diamond kind? We need specifics. If you don't know from a visual, don't feel bad.

I remember the first time I got his autograph in 89 or 90. He was getting into a cab after a Mets/Phils game w/ his blonde wife and he signed a 1988 tidewater tides card for me and nothing after that. I was pumped. After the years I probably got his graph like 10 times more.

definitely not researching or reading others' answers.

What's the question? The Ripken one is not his real rookie card, his real rookie card was the one that had 3 future stars on it

maybe the donruss ones are the ones that had "errors" you remember that sh*t?? It made like a Bruce Sutter card 1000 times cooler cause they misspelled his name or whatever

man the fukin 80s DUDE!! heavy metal, baseball cards, tight jeans, small moustaches, huge glasses, vhs tapes, mtv, arcade games HELL YEAH DUDE!!!!

If you were able to identify them visually, congrats! You were a true collector like me. You also have a bunch of worthless cardboard that you spent thousands for. Ahhhh, the memories!

I'm 35 and collected from the mid 80's until 1994. When you were a kid, it was the best when the new year's cards came out and you were the first to get them in your circle of friends. I still remember flashing the 87 Topps Canseco until my other buddy flashed a fleer one. WTF? Where did he get it? It was Feb or March.

Remember the days when this was the hottest card on the planet.

I remember buying a 200ct lot of them at $2.40ea. and selling them for $7.50 each. I'm still kicking myself that I didn't hold on to them until they hit the $65 mark.

leaf, I had 2 boxes of the first series and second series. The Sosa one was a monster. I liked the series as well because of their thick stock, the card composition itself.
