Odds to win Super Bowl XLVI in 2012

These are from Bet Online. Apparently they were the first sportsbook to post odds for next season. I certainly won't be placing any Super Bowl wagers this early. I don't even like to play them until after the regular season starts. But I thought I would post them here.

    101 Arizona Cardinals +15000
    102 Atlanta Falcons +2000
    103 Baltimore Ravens +1200
    104 Buffalo Bills +8000
    105 Carolina Panthers +15000
    106 Chicago Bears +4500
    107 Cincinnati Bengals +9000
    108 Cleveland Browns +10000
    109 Dallas Cowboys +2300
    110 Denver Broncos +10000
    111 Detroit Lions +3500
    112 Green Bay Packers +600
    113 Houston Texans +3000
    114 Indianapolis Colts +1000
    115 Jacksonville Jaguars +7500
    116 Kansas City Chiefs +5000
    117 Miami Dolphins +8000
    118 Minnesota Vikings +7000
    119 New England Patriots +500
    120 New Orleans Saints +700
    121 New York Giants +1500
    122 New York Jets +1500
    123 Oakland Raiders +5000
    124 Philadelphia Eagles +1500
    125 Pittsburgh Steelers +850
    126 San Diego Chargers +1700
    127 San Francisco 49ers +5000
    128 Seattle Seahawks +6500
    129 St Louis Rams +5000
    130 Tampa Bay Buccaneers +4500
    131 Tennesse Titans +7500
    132 Washington Redskins +10000

Bears @ +4500 seems pretty awesome, Vikings @ +7000 isn't bad for teams on the doorstep the last couple years. Same with the Cardinals @ +150000. I know with the Cards & Vikings, they need a QB, but teams have won in the past with a journeyman QB. The key is to find some longshots at this point, I wouldn't bother with anything less than 45:1.

Patriots odds are laughable. Belichick and Brady will never make the Super Bowl again

bettingwizard i can almost guarantee you the patriots win the afc next year. brady could go down week 1 again and brian hoyer would get the job done. belichick is embarrassed, and you do not want to embarrass the greatest strategical coach in nfl history. also, the nfc will be wide open next year as the eagles will fall flat on their face again and the buccaneers and lions will both win their divisions

he wasn't embarassed after blowing a perfect season?

After getting throttled at home by the Ravens last year?

time to accept that the 3 titles were a fluke.

The only teams I see even having a CHANCE of winning next year is the winner of GB/Pitt, the saints, Cowboys, and one longshot is the Lions. Everybody else is wasted dough.

Liking New York Jets or one of the teams in Florida to win super bowl in 2012. About this year, hope the Packs can bring home the super bowl trophy, need the defensive line to work out in this game. Go packers!!!

how can you say theyre a fluke when his record over that span is by far the best? championship games are one game in which the opposing team always has the chip on their shoulder of "aw man best team ever lets shock the world" which works against them. tom brady is not a fluke and belichicks system is not a fluke. it puts up points. the defense was basically rookies this year and one season of experience is crucial, especially in the secondary. patriots/giants or patriots/lions is my guess, if a season if even in the cards next year

If I had to choose, I would bet teams with elite quarterbacks, it seems to be the pattern so far in the past 3 super bowls.

    Elite QB teams:
    Colts
    Saints
    Packers
    Steelers
    Chargers (defense problems)
    Eagles (defense problems)
    Patriots (defense problems)

Average QB that are running teams:
    Jets (offense problems)
    Ravens (offense problems)
    Giants (offense problems)

I do not believe that the Patriots will make it again.
There is something lacking on the Jets and Ravens offense.

If I bet 10 on carolina and they won, I would feel ripped off, like I should be getting paid ten times the payout I just hit. Screw that.

I hope there are 18 regular season games. Don't think the players would like that though.

NY Jets, Cowboys, Phily and Chargers are in my list. They are the most probable team. But I put Cowgirls out of the list, the rest 3 teams with >+1000 but less than 2000 would be the best option here.

homer opinion aside....i agree with you

i don't really think any team is deserving of 5-1 odds

gimme the browns at 100-1...running game and solid, young defense

and the chargers at 17-1...no doubt will make the playoffs (chiefs much tougher schedule and not too worried about den or oak)

I say after the 2011 draft is to see where the teams stands.

Colts, Saints, Bills, Raiders and Broncos need to draft run defense players.

Patriots, Texans, Redskins, Steelers, Falcons, Lions and Eagles need to draft pass defense players.

Panthers, Raiders, Titans, Redskins, Cardinals and 49ers need to draft or trade for another QB.

Some say that the Bears, Jets and Browns should get a better QB.

rams at 50 to 1 is good value imo. Bradford is a great QB, just needs more experience and a team to back him.

jets, and sf if they can get a qb but why not throw 100 on em now before they do get a qb and the odds drop, its at +5000 right now!

Here's my thoughts on this. In the AFC, it will be one of the favorites. New England, Pittsburgh, Indianapolis if they stay healthy, San Diego if they play up to their potential, New York might be ready to take the next step next season, maybe Baltimore if their defense plays out of their mind. I can't see anybody else coming out of the AFC. If a long shot wins the Super Bowl, it will almost certainly come from the NFC. Look at Tampa Bay. If Josh Freeman continues to improve and they improve their rush defense, they could take the division.

Dallas have more points as compared to Pittsburgh but I hope pittsburgh will play well in upcoming seasons.

Intertops has the best Super Bowl odds. I think because less people are on that site.

    Packers 8 to 1 odds.
    Patriots 8 to 1 odds.

I don't think betting favs this early has much value. Probably better off taking a chance on one of the middle to upper middle contenders.

The WORST Bet o' The Lot!

The Patriots, hands down........they've recently proven to be the MOST OVERRATED team in the NFL the last few years.
