    we did a study on this in a statistics class in college and it though not an enormous amount of data and the coin will be different for the superbowl but tails came in just around 51% to the heads of 49% for what its worth. so even though that info is useless in a one flip scenario i always believe the odds are with tails, something to do with the amount of indentures in the coin and the effect gravity has pulling the slightly heavier side down, idk im not some MIT genius but im on tails or nothing.

    That article is laughable! I hope he wasn't serious! Just because one conference has won the coin toss 13 times in a row, that doesn't change the probability that they will win the next one! Anyone who wagers on the coin toss at even money or worse is a fool! Unless you can get better than even money on one side, which no sportsbook will give you, it's a break even proposition at best! Pure luck, no handicapping required!
