    Hershal Walker back in NFL??

Herschel Walker, 48, reportedly considering NFL comeback attempt, says "Two teams I would come back to play for are Minnesota or Atlanta."

Don't know when this photo was taken but imagine he is in better shape than half the RBs in the league!

On Aug. 23, 2010, Walker stated during a radio interview that he still performs 3,500 Sit-Ups and 1,000 Push-Ups every day.

Why do I have a feeling the NFL is slightly more stringent on performance enhancers than the MMA is? Thus giving him a quick boot out the league.

Given his natural speed and good shape, I think he could easily be a kick returner and 3rd down receiver out of backfield type back. If he was willing to play for the league minimum with heavily incentive laden contract, i would take a chance on him as a GM. Especially for a team that might have attendance problems.

Not worth it. He may be extremely buff [Possibly as a result of juice] but being as agile as someone in their 20s in the NFL is pretty unlikely.

I would actually be interested in his 40 times... Although he can maintain good strength through regular workouts the first thing u lose with age is foot speed. If he can't do at least 4.60 for 40 yd dash hes history.

that could be his 2nd personality talking. Also he would do nothing but a return and he is not a hall of famer anyway. Who really cares if he gets 1 rush a game

He said he was clocked in 4.38 seconds in the 40-yard dash last February, and "I think if I can get back to my track work, I can run it pretty fast. I know I can run it better than a 4.5."

No way he'd have the speed for that. I think it's impossible altogether, but if he did it would be either as a fullback or maybe a tight end. I don't believe he can run a 4.38. No way.

Willie Gault, the Bears WR from their last Super Bowl team still sprints in competitions. He's 49 and runs a 10.8 100meter and was clocked at 4.27 in the 40 last year.

He might get on a roster during training camp but he won't be there on opening day.

Guy is in unreal shape for his age if he says he ran a 4.4 forty i will believe him. Hersh, and Bo Jackson were the 2 biggest freaks i have ever seen. It is too bad that Minn didn't really give him the ball 30 times a game after trading all those picks for him!

Herky is correct. According to Michael Wilbon of Pardon the Interruption, Walker can still run a 4.38 40 yd dash...

guy was shitty 15 years ago, why would he be BETTER now? c'mon people wake up

the NFL has nothing to do with workout warriors, combine stats, or how you look when you flex.

If this guy could play 14 years ago, and contribute they would have put him on the field. but they didn't.

I trust the NFL Coaches a little bit more than a punch drunk, multiple personality disorder 50 year old that is too competitive for his own good.

I doubt he will make a team, and i'm sure no coach wants him, but i'm sure some owners want to sell his jersey.

make a team? no team will let him sniff a private workout. why waste the time on some poor scout.

guy was all hype, and i'm sorry. He didn't build those traps on pushups and situps.
