    I'll agree...it's kind of sad. I never liked him anyways being a Pats fan...but he had a good career but you can tell he's not much of a player without his youthful speed.

    It wasn't that long ago that he was the premier NFL back.

    Now with so many teams using RB by committee approaches, he may be the last RB to dominate with those kinda numbers over such a good period of time.

    I think you'll see Mendenhall be one of the those 8-10 good year RB's...if he can stay healthy. He has the speed to produce good numbers and power to take some hits and keep trucking. Also, Pitt likes to establish the run.

    That is why Emmitt Smith's rushing record will never be broken. If LT has fallen off the cliff, everyone else will follow suit. 30 is the new 55 in rb years.
