    Can Kyle Shanahan revive Kap?

I think he gets something out of him.

Balke left the whole team in a wreck. Kap will be retired by the time the niners are revived

No, but possibly get decent play out of him until we (the 49ers) get our QB of the future. Which may be counter productive since the QB of the future is Jake Browning, and he's already getting penciled into the Brown's 2018 roster. Excuse me... I need to go find a bar and ask them to turn on the History Channel so I can relive the glory years from the 80's and 90's. #yucktheforks

Kap fukin blows, no one will win with him being a QB. If they have him starting they might as well mail it in as a 4 win season at most

On what? The Niners? I said niners franchise was ruined for at least a decade when POS rich kid York Jr. let his ego get in the way of Harbaugh staying. And I stand by that. So my insight is that, if you're a niner fan, don't bother watching games unless you like being kicked in the nuts for 3 hrs.

As a life long Niner fan, I'm sick on losing. I don't think Kap is finished personally. It's all between the ears with Kap. He's kind of like a Cam Newton. He has all the physical attributes to be great; or a least lead the team to a winning record.

When Harbaugh left, that was a wrap. Took the air out of the sails..

Kaep is nothing like Cam other than the fact that they are not very bright. Kaep doesn't go through progressions (is scared to), doesn't understand basic fundamental play calling/adjustments and is quite possibly the least accurate passing starting QB in the past decade.

The fact that he achieved so much and was in 3 NFC championships speaks to the utter brilliance of Jim Harbaugh. He knew how to scheme around Kaep's "strengths" and was a genius when it came to halftime adjustments and getting Kaep prepared.

Hell, I was in the stands when Kaep played his last college bowl game at ATT Park. Possibly the worst game I've ever seen played.

You guys thinking some other coach is gonna "fix" a QB that was terrible to begin with will be disappointed. Wake me up when it's 2022 and I can watch Niner games again.

I hope the 49ers don't do well. I hope they pay Kaepernick but play Gabbert.

    You can't revive a retard.

Id say there's about a 10% chance he would even know the definition of revive.

Ill never forget kaep calling a timeout on the very first play from scrimmage after the kickoff in the second half of that really cold playoff game in gb.

Cause timeouts in the second half of tight playoff games are usually not needed right.

What Kyle and the 49ers need to do with Kaep is in reality Kaep is a One Read QB. He is he just is. Instead of trying to make him Tom Brady which he isn't nor ever will be, they should make him a One read and run QB like he was in 2012 and 2013 and I thought both those years he was Very Good and WON A LOT in the NFL. It all went downhill when dumbass Baalke lets Harbaugh go and then Baalke wrecked the whole Franchise by drafting a bunch of Losers and ACL picks that never panned out. They tried to transform Kap into a pocket QB which he isn't and should not want to be. Look whats happened to russell wilson, he can't sniff the Super Bowl now 2 years in a row because he stopped running.

When Kaep runs it opens up the whole offense and offers a new dynamic. Give Kaep a couple decent receivers and another stout oline and he'll be fine imo. I think he actually fits nicely in a Kyle Shannahan type zone blocking running type offense.

Focus on defense first; 49ers defense was horrible all year.

Who have Kaps weapons been the last 2 years?

Number 1 WR is Torey Smith....someone who never suits up, and when he does is a one trick pony.

    Horrible talent surrounding him.

When Kap was good he had some quality ass offensive players all in their near-primes.

    Gore
    Delanie Walker
    Vernon Davis
    Anquan Bolden
    Michael Crabtree
    Brandon Lloyd

Think about that talent and where the 49ers are now.

Kap has nothing upstairs. In order for him to succeed, you have to keep it simple.

Kap was good for one half a football season. Although he has sucked other than that, that somehow means something to anyone. He is worthless.
