    I am all over Den,,,but that was a pass,,

    so much so everyone on the field thought so.

    and they could not even get it right on review.

    League is not only going downhill,,they are doing it at light speed.

    I thought so too but in jjgold's thread, poster Seattle Slew said it's the "empty hand" rule.

    Well basic physics dictates that it was a pass..

    how does an object propel downfield 5 yards without any outside help.. Sure it was not pretty. ==but it went forward and he was never hit by anyone.

    My thought exactly but it was explained by the retired ref that it was a fumble so he agreed with Seattle Slew. The thing that decided it for me is that Osweiler's hand was open before his arm started forward. From that point on it doesn't matter which direction it went. The hand was open, therefore the "open hand" rule.
