Donald Trump is a reality star.

People are tuning in to hear what he says, and what people say about him.

You have a lot to learn, alling. Allow me to be your mentor.

I also have a hard time believing it's the election, but the last election was 2012, not 2011. In 2012, ratings were high, but they were down a little then also.

Tonight, I was at the station and lost more money betting horses than I ever have.
    I'll do it again.
    Ignored the football games.

Horses don't hurt nobody because they're stupid.
Rather watch them, then Roger Goodell ruin my favorite childhood game.

You just know that Mark Cuban is somewhere laughing and saying "I told you so" He predicted that the NFL would start to slide

Mark Cuban is right. Too many televised games hurts. Teams like 49ers, Saints, Colts etc do not belong on TV. If the opposing team rushes for 200 yards you should be banned from TV for life.

If only we could go back to when FOOTBALL was FOOTBALL, and FOOTBALL only. Now we have football with terrible primetime matchups, referees determining the outcome of the game, players literally losing their freaking mind on the field, political protests... the list goes on and on.

I was so damn bored watching that TNF game last night (with the stands half full) that I went and played a damn video game. I haven't played a damn video game in 3 years.

Like many said before me, if it wasn't for gambling I wouldn't watch half of the football that I do now. We need football reform

    Not surprised to see that.

Throw in that NFL news resembles something more like TMZ and tabloid news, than actual sports reporting. There are really only a couple true rivalries left between teams, there may be rivalries between fan bases, but not between teams anymore. All the players are buddy-buddy with each other, joking around, trading jerseys etc.

I miss the days of real rivalries like, the Buddy Ryan "Bounty Bowl", Harvey Martin throwing a funeral wreath into the Redskins locker room etc. The NFL has just gotten too watered down, too politically correct..... it's a step away from becoming flag football and handing out Participation Ribbons

All games were unwatchable this weekend. Maybe only the Lions-Eagles game was tight at the end.

Many reasons but one huge reason is player salaries. These guys make way too much so the urgency to win isn't where it needs/should be.

The NFL is becoming over regulated. I read an article that they are on pace for a record number of player ejections this season. The increased ejections come from the new 2 flags and you're out personal conduct fouls rule and from the increased leeway in judgement calls they allowed to the refs to eject on the first personal conduct penalty.

Too many of these PC fouls are on questionable celebrations calls, just ridiculous.

    Love the NFL still.

The player's protesting is the main reason.

It's the QBs. They all stink. NFL has also tried to have high scoring games and now they have defenses that have morphed into killer Ds and a bunch of lousy QBs that are overmatched. There are no big name players anymore.

Mostly due to cable cutting though and the younger generation just not being very interested in football. They like the Madden a lot better.

QB Play is very BAD. Defenses has caught up to offenses and too much Football on TV. Never ever thought i'd say that. Ever but its true. Tonight's game is a godam joke. A Huge problem is teams rushing these QBs straight from College right into the starting lineup when they aren't ready. Sure some guys it works but for most itjust ruins them and then they become journeymen trash QBS when we expected them to be stars.

They don't have any choice. It's all they have. Probably the worst set of QBs in NFL history which is ironic since all college teams do is pass.

Stars of the game have historically been RBs. Now they want to pass every down and have 50-point games. They have QBs that can't pass. Secondaries with incredible speed and ability and the running game has basically been eliminated.

They need to start playing football again. You can't watch this stuff.

For me its a couple of things. First off the Commercials are killing me way too many. The producer cant throw it to the Break fast enough. No Kickoffs everyone goes into the ends zone with no runback. Last too many games. No reason for Thursday Night. Thanksgiving Thursday is enough. Also im a west Coast guy living in the Midwest. Stop with the Regional Matchups and Just Show the Best games. Stop with the 2 games in Morning and Just one in The afternoon go to 2 in Morning and 2 in the Day. One more for me is The Schedule. This Sunday 9 morning games and Just 3 late games.

lol, this country is so stupid
boycott the NFL over a harmless protest...but not because the billionaire owners are fleecing cities & taxpayers for stadium money, not because of the massive cover-ups re: concussions, not because of the way they treat players involved in domestic violence incidents (cover-ups again), etc. Just plain stupid...
