Let's Be Realistic Here Tom Brady Is Currently 39 Yrs Old When Does He Start Tanking?

I'm going to say this is his last year. He has the 4 game suspension? So basically he's good for 12 solid games + playoffs. Arm speed.... I question. Mobility is already downhill. Really nothing there.

I don't give a sh#$ what shape you're in... how do you survive in this league at 39 years old?

    You simply can't.

He will retire after this season.

Remember when his offensive line was the best ever, he could literally order a beer and nachos before the D could get to him. Last year Pats O-Line was 2nd worst in the NFL yet TMFB made it thru the season without any injuries other than the Suh cheap shot Week 17 and last year was considered the Year of the Injured QB, Romo went down so many times AVN almost gave him an award. TMFB has only been injured once in his entire career, name a QB as great as him only injured once. I do agree his arm strength isn't as good as it once was but if Chad Pennington could be a QB for as many years as he was and only throw the ball 15 yards TMFB can be in the league for another 5 years.

36 TD to 7 INT last season - yeah, just trash. Hasn't even had good talent to work with.

Guy hardly ever gets touched and when he does he lets everyone know he isnt happy about it. Seems he's had some of the best O-lines in history, but that system they run is the number one reason. He doesnt hold the ball too long really ever. Other QB's have played into their 40's so I wouldnt just go on that, injury or if he ever get to a point where he feels he just cant do it anymore will more than likely sit him down. For a young guy a 4 game suspension would make them hungrier but I think with Brady's age it has the reverse effect, yeah he's mad at some people, but its just more time, anguish, and rust of sitting out four extra weeks and its probably weighing on him.

NOT wishing ill on Brady... but would be deja vu all over again if he is knocked out of a late season game and the new kid takes over for good

Pats O line this year is average at best. If they can continue to protect him from the big hits, I don't see why 3-5 more years of playing couldn't be in range.

In today's NFL, he can play to 48 at the quarterback position.

Tom has every intention to match George Blanda's record.. 48 years old at QB.

After next season. He's getting old, family life will domesticate him and teams in his division are on the come up so that dominance will fade and he will want to get out when he can.

That's the thing I worry about.... how many times do you snap the ball without getting smoked on a play?

Brady must have a rabbit's foot in his back pocket?

Let's face it... Romo is a decent QB... and he gets smoked here and there.

Can Brady take the hits like Romo has?

I don't wish ill will on Brady either... but man... guy does know when to release the ball.... just in time.

We've all witnessed a few plays in which he knew he was going to get hit... and he just slid underneath the hit... or gave himself up.

Will New England go 0-4 to start the year? Or 1-3? I wonder if that would put more pressure on Brady to win? Possibly doing things he'd normally wouldn't do? And get injured.

Why doesn't Kraft just sign better players? Why is he such a cheap ass giving Brady hardly any support?

A buddy of mine is a bears fan and he always talks about the time Urlacher should've decapitated Brady haha Brady just juked outta the way the man is a football god. The pats gameplan hasn't changed much since he's taken over at QB yet teams still can't stop Brady and Co. If he's winning and healthy family life won't get him to stop playing, he took a few "holy shit" hits last year but bounced right back up like nothing happened. I don't think Kraft's $ matters players want stability not a 1 year contract and that's what the pats are famous for.

2-2 at worst. Garoppolo will do a good job.

Barring injury, he can easily play another 3-4 years and if he gets replaced, it probably won't be because of his production. If the pats start losing and Garoppolo is impressive in the meantime, fans will slowly start to turn on Brady. And when the outcry hits its peak, Brady will be the scapegoat for the other team deficiencies.
