    New England -5 (-110)= Grade A wager.

    - Patriots are very intimidating at home
    - Patriots coach just as good as KC
    - Patriots WR Edelman just said he's ready to go "full throttle"
    - Patriots TE Gronk, WR Amendola, White, LaFell, Martin, Chandler all ok
    - Edelman value as decoy KC backfield must cover even if not 100%
    - T Sebastian Vollmer participated in practice
    - Brandon Bolden and veteran Steven Jackson complimentary RB styles
    - KC already booked their road playoff win, season a success
    - KC WR Maclin their biggest long threat has serious ankle problem
    - Patriots had the bye week
    - Cold but clear forecast
    - Late afternoon start 4:35 EST = rowdier fans

    New England Patriots -5 (-110)
    100 times or higher ($500+)

This Chiefs team reminds me of the Jets a few years back when they went to the Cheatriots and won on their way to the AFC championship game. In the words of the great Bart Scott "Can't wait"

Personally, I see more value in the Broncos giving up the -6, or ML parlay with something else you like. I fear the Chiefs right now.

Steelers will hang in for a bit, but Den will grind them down.

I might go in a ML parlay with Den/KC, or possibly Den/NE. Will decide throughout the week.

Alex Smith has never played at FoxBorough, me either

But what about the pats off line? Are they getting guys back? If not they are toast. Brady has been under siege lately. They really really need Volmer back at tackle

Pats vs Denver for AFC Championship
    painfully obvious.

Would not be surprised if Pats win by 3 TD.

Ne would be lucky to score 3 tds! Kc just beat the breaks off them last year. Ugly low scoring game 20-17.

Belichick with an extra week to prepare against a buffoon in Andy Reid. Chiefs D is for real, but at the end of the day Alex Smith is still Alex Smith and KC's offense is devoid of talent. Lay the points.

What if the AFC and NFC championships were all divisional rivalry match ups?

This would be a rare occurrence: AFC: Broncos vs Chiefs and NFC: Seahawks vs Cardinals

believe me, all those patriots didn't heal overnight. they are still banged up and thin. kc will have no trouble moving the ball up and down the field enough to cover a monstrous +5 spread. absolute lock tease +11 if you can find something to tease them with. in worst case scenario patriots go up 17-0 and still kc will backdoor cover this one if it comes down to it teaser wise. first game on weekend so start 3-6 open teasers with kc and then just keep filling them in.

    modification on weather.
    i accidentally posted Sunday's.
Saturday is currently 70% chance of rain, decreasing
in the afternoon. So rain is expected to taper off
and the temp will be warm around 40 high of day.
NE weather is famously unpredictable, however.

Only a fool believes what teams report this early in the week. The Patsies are still banged up and really need help on the O-line. Tloo early to get a real feeling about this game, but for now, a pass.

    what report ?
Edelman is on record saying he is ready to play full throttle.
    Vollmer was AT practice.
What is unknown ? nothing important except maybe Vollmer.
Edelman is going to have to be covered and functions as a distractor at
the very least. His foot wasn't really BROKEN. They call hairline cracks
    "broken" in today's league.
Belichick is known for overestimating injuries, NOT underestimating them.
Trust me I know what I'm doing with New England sports.

And you actually believe all of this. Amazing. I suppose you believe that Big Ben still may play for Pitt even though he has admitted to having torn ligaments in his throwing shoulder. Just what would you expect the Patsies to say? Would Edelman way the he is NOT 100%? If you think that a hairline fracture is not a break, you really have no idea about football injuries. Vollmer showing up at practice means nothing. Obviously you are a Patsy homer. I have seen some of your wagers and trust me, you do NOT know what you are doing..

My crystal ball says KC will win by 7. Patriots offensive line is weak while KC's defense is extremely strong right now. The offense can be full of Gronkowski and Edelman clones but in the end will not make a difference if Brady is constantly running for his life. Alex Smith is good enough to drive the ball down the field, the backup RB's (especially Ware) fight for extra yards, and they have other players besides Maclin that can catch the ball. This is going to be a classic game won by defense and New England will lose because it will be hard to win without being able to get into the end zone.

Still undecided in this one. Alex Smith needs one of those 80%+ completion rates for KC to win. I'm serious.

Tom Brady can dissect any defense.

How hungry is Tom at 38 now? Also, late in the year... you get mentally tired and fatigued. We shall see.

Pats are at home on a BYE
    Seattle on road no BYE
There are no similarities except the line
which is there to mess with your heads.
This is a hilarious yet revealing thread so far.
    My bet is in.
