    The difference here is the Chiefs offense. Andy Reid/Doug Pederson play it way too close to the vest, especially for the playoffs. If Brady and the Patriots offense gets off to a fast start will the Alex Smith and the Chiefs be able to respond? If Maclin is out that makes it even worse. I think that Pats -5 is a solid bet.

    Dont sleep on this chiefs team with a struggling offense and defense of the patriots. No matter if edleman and gronk are healthy. Chiefs will make brady very uncomfortable. I think KC has a strong shot to win this game if they can score enough points. If they keep the Pats under 23 points, they can win. Also, fade the public. Public is all over the Pats. Hotels are open on every corner in vegas because of the public.

    snowball I could give more validity if you were pro.Anyone that can't afford 100.But screw what these others are saying. As someone that bets lines (I believe they try to get you to bet one way) if kc had a chance the line would be 3 or less.i may go large on seattle because of this. good luck and after you win go to pro status.     Snow. BIG Pats guy here. Grew up in Lexington. 5 is always a weird # in the NFL.
    So far, everywhere I look, bets are balanced close to 50/50.
    Books may be very happy @ that with this game.
    I believe @ 6 they would get a preponderance of $ on Chiefs.
    Therefore I like the Pats to win if it moves to 6, but am laying off @ 5.

    Right now, my gut says they are going down falling short with a ferocious late comeback.

    Going back to 2011, every first round game NE plays they score 35 or more, but they dont blow anyone out. The first round divisional game has gone over 6 of the last 7 times.

    Agree with most except this. Chandler drops a lot of good passes and isn't nearly the same YAC beast that Gronk is. However, I do think the Gronk situation is grossly exaggerated and, like you said, he'll be good to go at near 100%.
