    Early leans but confident

Playoff footbl showed one thing this wildcard weekend....home field means nothing compared to playoff experience. Pittsburgh...Seattle....Green Bay and Kansas City the only one that wasn't and they got Houston who is inexperienced also. The NFL is showing me something this decade...they don't really let new teams come in and prove anything. The only ones who give new teams with hype a chance are the losing moneyline people who bet this weekend. Big Ben Rodgers Brady Manning and Wilson all have rings already and one will add another one. This divisional round if you buy into hype you will get buried.

    Seattle +3
Back to back Superbowls and really bad play calling away from being back to back champs. I love Carolina and Cam don't get me wrong but no way am I betting against that defense and that ring and Lynch might be coming back. Wilson will do enough this game will be close but you have to take the points. Carolina wide receivers will be dropping the ball when open I can't imagine them catching the ball in traffic and taking big hits. This really has "upset" all over it if you can even call it that anymore. Yawn I will read the hype on Carolina as people try to convince themselves they are on the right side but I won't buy into it.

    Green Bay +7
Wow. Love this. Absolutely fan girling over Rodgers but that's okay as long as I get paid. BUT ARIZONA BLEW THEM OUT WEEK 16. THAT ARIZONA DEFENSE IS AMAZING. PALMER IS DIFFERENT NOW HE IS AMAZING THIS YEAR. THEY WILL KILL GREEN BAY. Do you believe that? Rodgers is on a mission if you didn't see that in Washington. Washington and Cousins were supposed to beat up the Packers team that wasn't the same anymore!! Truly they will lose!! And that HORRIBLE Green Bay defense is gonna get torched!!! Wow...didn't see that this week. Seven points is God handing you points you won't even need. Green Bay goes into beautiful Arizona and beats Arizona pretty handily. I think Rodgers can roll around the pocket even with pressure and make throws downfield just like today and Green Bays defense will make just enough plays like today with the sacks and fumble recoveries. I just love experience I don't fall in love with regular season greatness.

    New England-5
Oh this one will be tough but again...bet against Brady I wonder how much money against the spread you would have won doing that in his playoff career. I really think this game will he tough but KC beat Houston...People were actually taking Brian Hoyer with 3.5 points because they believe the hype that is somehow created from nothing. New England and Brady will do whatever they have to do to win this game even if they have to deflate a football here and there. Alex Smith has been great and 11 straight wins but this is New England and that passing game will be on point and Gronk should shred them! I really think that New Englands defense is underrated and they should shut down Kansas City's offense this isn't being played in Houston it is being played where teams fear playing for the last 10 years.

The point of this is....bet with the playoff experience forget the 2015 regular season standings and what happened in head to head matchups when the games weren't as important. Look what happened when Big Ben came in against Cinci....the other drives before him Pitt couldn't move the ball even with Ben that couldn't throw the ball downfield they found a way to win. There is something about confidence and experience that is somehow underrated. Pittsburgh drove down field with a QB that couldn't throw a football isn't that the only job of a QB?? Apparently not because a backup that was healthy couldn't make a playoff comeback because he wasn't ready and seasoned with playoff experience salt n pepper. Look what happened when GB went down early on the road...Rodgers was laughing on the sideline and ready to do what he's done before. He was ready...Cousins didn't know what to do with a lead he WASN'T ready for the moment. They might have been the better team but this is the playoffs. Look what happened when Seattle fumbled the snap over Wilsons head...he grabbed the ball and was confident he could make a play, Bridgewater would have just fell on the ball.

This is the playoffs....bet with the more seasoned talent that's where the money is. Good luck

Some decent points but Carolina is not new to the playoffs, nor are we unfamiliar with this Seattle team. Getting much needed rest after a dominate 2015 is only a strength for them. If Seattle wants the Super Bowl they are going to have to earn it in this game. No one has given the Panthers credit, (including myself and I'm a fan)...people are still skeptical of Cam and aren't comfortable handing out MVP titles but do not forget we have been winning our division and have much needed playoff xp.

As far as the line goes, you cannot give Carolina much credit for a home field....the fanbase just isn't as strong as others in the league. Game is Car -1 imho

Well playoff experience is one thing like Cincinnati they have it too...but the thing is they don't win so it doesn't matter. Winning in the playoffs is the experience they need.

Yea that's a fair point 117. I guess my response is they are in the right position this year to get those wins. Seattle is a great team but Carolina is not going to make fundamental errors and give it to them. Mentally they weren't ready vs Harbaughs Niners and we were "gifted" last years win against the Cardinals but I believe that this year is ours. Perfect storm of underappreciated? names working together to be amazing as a unit and for a greater goal. We shall see on Sunday....as a bettor/gambler the +3 Sea is tempting but Car ML is the winner.

Well we will see but there is a reason things and teams go unappreciated it is usually because they deserve it. Look I watched Cam all year I love this guy and I want to get caught up in the hype I really do. I just refuse to bet against a team or teams that consistently win in the playoffs. They have made two straight super bowls...even the Bills that had not won a superbowl made it 4 straight years and than couldn't win. I think the experience of getting there helped them make four straight in years with Jim Kelly. What team makes a superbowl 4 straight times with Jim Kelly....because you make one and than the you know you can do it again. What are the chances they lose four straight superbowls...well you don't think you can win it because you never have. I'm not saying Carolina has no chance to win the game but there is no chance I put my money on something unproven...I just can't. What is proven is Seattle has made 2 straight superbowls and I don't think Cam will stop that train. The defense in every position is stacked....and they do what they have to do to win. I actually think Seattles past is what caused the Walsh missed field goal....in the NFL it's almost like teams that haven't been there before don't believe they will win even when there a chip shot away.

I cannot disagree there at all. The pressure gets to people and they make mistakes, hard to back a team that hasn't won it all before I understand. Vegas does also so why are you getting 3 points?

Well Vegas knows Carolina is at home and they are 15-1. Vegas wants 50-50 action they don't care what the number is they just want the VIG. I live in Vegas they want money on both sides they could care less who wins cause they always win. Plus the amount made on the slots makes sports betting in this city like nothing. Casinos build there foundations on slot machines the sportsbooks in our local casinos make like 2 or 3 percent of monthly profit.

I would not know about revenues there 117 but this line doesn't make sense to get 50/50 unless you are just hoping on Car money late which I highly doubt they get. I'm sure it's not that much in relation to other casino games but if they just put out random numbers without thought then that would be poor linemaking, not smart business plan. I dunno though I see things from weird perspectives at times.

Well of course there is a reason for the number but casinos will be happy to get 50-50 on each side. I think that Carolina is favored because they are 15-1 and at home but if Seattle was the home team would it be even or maybe even Seattle-1? How big of home field is Carolina? I've never heard a player say they were intimidated by Carolinas stadium. I mean there are some stadiums I'd fear playing Carolina wouldn't be one in January. Arizona and Carolinas home field means little to nothing to me.

117 has made good plays and regardless of this Seahawks loss he will be up in the playoffs.

Panthers are hungry, not just for a divisional win. I know lots of Bama/Oregon fans out there that want nothing to do with Cam but he is a special athlete. He has worked on his natural game to get where he is today, he doesn't get caught up in controversy off the field and he has done a much better job of not letting what happens on the field get the best of him.

NFL needs to run 2004 SB bowl back and validate what he's done for the Panthers. Peyton story is compelling and hard to ignore but if you wanna be validated you have to beat the Patriots so I hope that's what I get to see in SB 50.

I know the fans are global for the Seahawks and it's hard to look through the bias of the college stuff with Cam but this kid has been spectacular THIS year. 15-1 on the season...that hard work has to pay off. Lets go NFL, time to validate what they have worked hard on this season.

Well done so far, 117. Tough call at Carolina today, but I can't say that I disagree with your analysis. Good luck

By saying "at best" you mean that pushing is a possibility, correct? It's his best possible outcomE, right?

So I ask again, when he pushes, which by your words is a possible outcome, are we going to come back at laugh at him?

No need to answer, its what we call a hypothetical question.

But I will answer my own hypothetical question, I will still be laughing at your ignorance, and wont be able to make it to your laugh party for a guy that pushes on a bet.

    You fukking moron
