Playoff footbl showed one thing this wildcard weekend....home field means nothing compared to playoff experience. Pittsburgh...Seattle....Green Bay and Kansas City the only one that wasn't and they got Houston who is inexperienced also. The NFL is showing me something this decade...they don't really let new teams come in and prove anything. The only ones who give new teams with hype a chance are the losing moneyline people who bet this weekend. Big Ben Rodgers Brady Manning and Wilson all have rings already and one will add another one. This divisional round if you buy into hype you will get buried.
Seattle +3
Back to back Superbowls and really bad play calling away from being back to back champs. I love Carolina and Cam don't get me wrong but no way am I betting against that defense and that ring and Lynch might be coming back. Wilson will do enough this game will be close but you have to take the points. Carolina wide receivers will be dropping the ball when open I can't imagine them catching the ball in traffic and taking big hits. This really has "upset" all over it if you can even call it that anymore. Yawn I will read the hype on Carolina as people try to convince themselves they are on the right side but I won't buy into it.
Green Bay +7
Wow. Love this. Absolutely fan girling over Rodgers but that's okay as long as I get paid. BUT ARIZONA BLEW THEM OUT WEEK 16. THAT ARIZONA DEFENSE IS AMAZING. PALMER IS DIFFERENT NOW HE IS AMAZING THIS YEAR. THEY WILL KILL GREEN BAY. Do you believe that? Rodgers is on a mission if you didn't see that in Washington. Washington and Cousins were supposed to beat up the Packers team that wasn't the same anymore!! Truly they will lose!! And that HORRIBLE Green Bay defense is gonna get torched!!! Wow...didn't see that this week. Seven points is God handing you points you won't even need. Green Bay goes into beautiful Arizona and beats Arizona pretty handily. I think Rodgers can roll around the pocket even with pressure and make throws downfield just like today and Green Bays defense will make just enough plays like today with the sacks and fumble recoveries. I just love experience I don't fall in love with regular season greatness.
New England-5
Oh this one will be tough but again...bet against Brady I wonder how much money against the spread you would have won doing that in his playoff career. I really think this game will he tough but KC beat Houston...People were actually taking Brian Hoyer with 3.5 points because they believe the hype that is somehow created from nothing. New England and Brady will do whatever they have to do to win this game even if they have to deflate a football here and there. Alex Smith has been great and 11 straight wins but this is New England and that passing game will be on point and Gronk should shred them! I really think that New Englands defense is underrated and they should shut down Kansas City's offense this isn't being played in Houston it is being played where teams fear playing for the last 10 years.
The point of this is....bet with the playoff experience forget the 2015 regular season standings and what happened in head to head matchups when the games weren't as important. Look what happened when Big Ben came in against Cinci....the other drives before him Pitt couldn't move the ball even with Ben that couldn't throw the ball downfield they found a way to win. There is something about confidence and experience that is somehow underrated. Pittsburgh drove down field with a QB that couldn't throw a football isn't that the only job of a QB?? Apparently not because a backup that was healthy couldn't make a playoff comeback because he wasn't ready and seasoned with playoff experience salt n pepper. Look what happened when GB went down early on the road...Rodgers was laughing on the sideline and ready to do what he's done before. He was ready...Cousins didn't know what to do with a lead he WASN'T ready for the moment. They might have been the better team but this is the playoffs. Look what happened when Seattle fumbled the snap over Wilsons head...he grabbed the ball and was confident he could make a play, Bridgewater would have just fell on the ball.
This is the playoffs....bet with the more seasoned talent that's where the money is. Good luck
