Led by Dallas owner Jerry Jones, many NFL owners want to see t he Chargers and the Rams cut a deal and play in Inglewood. The Raiders are not liked by many NFL owners, certainly enough to keep them out of L.A. So it appears that either the Chargers and the Rams come to a deal today, or no one gets the necessary 75% of the owners vote (24 out of 32). The deadline to sign an economic term sheet is tomorrow morning.

One of the big reasons why the owners like this arrangement is because no team has to change divisions. A Charger-Raider arrangement would force one of the team (most likely San Diego) to move to the NFC. That would force either Arizona, or Seattle (most likely) to move to the AFC West. Another potential problem if the Rams do not relocate to Los Angeles is their relocating to London is the fact that the Rams would certainly have to move to the NFC East, something that Jerry Jones wants no part of.
