    No he doesn't deserve to be the highest paid. Football is a game of high interdependence and he has benefitted greatly from being the QB on a very, very good team. Some perspective is definitely in order here (IMO).

    He deserves a big contract, but not to be highest paid. I'd say 20 million per year sounds about right. I mean Cam Newton just got 20 mill, hard to go lower than that. RW is way better than Cam.

    Numbers don't really tell the story with Wilson. He's the most difficult qb in the league to sum up. His numbers are good but he keeps so many plays alive and does so many little things that don't show up on the stat sheet that it's tough to say.

    i could be wrong, but i don't think he has an agent and he got a complete steal of a deal.

    who throws away the super bowl and gets a great deal? now it was a terrible play call that he didn't make, but still you gotta execute.

    Wilson is no doubt a top 5-7 QB. Only QBs I'd for sure take over him right now considering age would be Rodgers and Big Ben. Probably would take Cam too but I'm not going to jump all over his bandwagon because of one great season.

    He's 100% elite and I'll go as far as saying top 3 in this league right now. If I was able to pick my QB for one year I'm only taking Rodgers and Brady over him. He's extremely accurate, extends plays, high IQ, and most importantly a winner. Don't be fooled by that "elite Defense" because without Wilson they would have lost a lot of those big games.

    He's been luckier than Eli Manning so far in his career, which is very hard to do.
    His defense and smart coaching wins games, not him.
    Carroll keeping him on a leash and managing the games right is what makes him look like he's decent when he really isn't.

    Remember what happened when they left it up to his arm in the superbowl for 1 yard? IT's one play, but it's a summary of his game IMO.
    If Seattle ever needs him to win games with his arm, they will be a losing franchise again.
    He's just in the perfect system right now.

    While the hawks d has gotten worse it's clearly evident this guy is getting better.

    When Wilson came on the scene I started calling him Capt'n Lucky. Omly thing is he's been in the league for more than I can
    remember now which is about 5 years and he is still getting it done. Give him the money, he is the team pretty much this
    year and he is a super bowl winner. Next year somone else's contract will come up and then they can become the highest
    paid qb ever. I remember when Marino got 5 mil and that was outrageous back then so, in the next few years when Mazda
    Mitch Trubibear comes up for a new conract and gets 35 mil for being a half ass qb we can all wonder how he does it. The
