Take the Jets at 50 to 1 to win the Super Bowl

Trust me they can do it. They have no weakness. Gino Smith has perfected his throwing Technique thanks to Tom House a former MLB player and pitching coach.

Top WR's in the game. Eric Decker, Brandon Marshall and Devin Smith.

Beast at Running back Zac Stacy and Chris Ivory.

    Offensive line is top notch.

Todd Bowles is the new Mike Tomlin. He can relate to the players b/c he is black and has a mean streak and he looks the part.

Second best cornerback tandem in the league with Cromartie and Revis.

Leornard Williams will help Calvin Pace and the rest of the wrecking crew on defense.

Jets easily win the AFC East and lock up home field in the playoffs.

If you had to bet on a heavy underdog to win the Super Bowl, it would be by betting on the Colts or Steelers.

They can't do it and they have weaknesses of course, like every other team. Geno maybe improved his mechanics, but the most important thing with QB's is what they have between their ears. Not how fast is their 40 and how strong arm they have. Those who are able to recognize coverages and stay poised under pressure, can lead teams to championships. Geno is far from that.

Top WR's? The group is improved fro what they had in last couple of seasons, but it's far from top. Decker was a product of Manning in Denver. Not a no.1. Marshall on decline. Smith one trick pony.

Stacy had two solid months in the league so far. Not a beast. Ivory already got the opportunity to prove his worth. Failed to deliver, imho.

Bowles still needs to prove himself. Many great coordinators failed as head coaches. I also think he's good, but lets see.

I doubt that they are winning AFC east. Pats still have an edge, because others doesn't have QB's.

Do or die for Geno but I saw some things I liked last year...His problem was turning one mistake into 12 during a game...If you take out his couple disaster games he played aleight

He should have never even been playing for at least 2 years...New coach and Gm will give him a shot but if he fails now it's over....

Their defense will easily be top 3 cannot run or pass on them at this point on paper....Runnig game should be good and their o/line and receivers are solid

New HC also has to prove himself but everyone thinks he'll do a good job

Think they can fight for a wildcard spot with an easy schedule (2 away games are neutral with London and @Giants) also play a bunch of shit teams

    I wouldn't take Jets 50-1 to take that division, nevermind the SB: 1.NE 2.BUF 3.MIA ... 4.NYJ.

Ryan Fitzpatrick is a Harvard graduate and if he gets healthy he may win the starting gig.

Mike Vick will have a special wild card package too.

Don't forget Bryce Petty who can throw the rock.

Jets have options at QB if Geno should get in legal trouble or continue to make dumb mental mistakes.

I will say this... with the weapons he has around him it will be pretty hard not to succeed.

8 wins would be a good season for this team.

    Obviously....if he doesn't correct it he's gone

Still think he's got the ability....hell, last game of the season he had a perfect QB rating and was playing well last few games

Maybe he puts it together now in year 3 with a competent offensive coaching staff and a better team around him

Good chance he doesn't but that's why the Jets got Fitzpatrick to hold the fort....Petty should take atleast a year to learn IMO, sick of forcing rookie QBs onto the field

Decent QB play away from being a very good team...unfortunately that's a big problem with many teams and hard to get

Bottom line is they will have a great defense with the best d-line and secondary on paper in the league but will likely struggle for a wildcard spot in many close, low scoring games

By putting the word "Jets" in the same thread as the Super Bowl, you have lost all credibility with me Bear. Unless you are talking about Super Bowl III, its not happening. Geno Smith? C'mon Bear! Just cause he perfected his throwing technique doesn't mean he knows WHERE to throw it.

Agreed. In Geno's case his agent (Jay-Z) pushed the envelop that client was superstar. He was terrible from Day 1, didn't even beat out Sanchez when pretty much everyone in the organization wanted him to.

They should hand Petty a clipboard and have him learn from Getardo's errors.

Fans of other teams don't realize how happy Jet fans are to have Ftizgerald. Think about, 8 years of basement level QB production in the same division as Brady. If RF can dial up a nice performance 4 or 5 times in a season he will be way ahead of the game.

I don't know what is funnier: Saying they have no weaknesses or saying that a baseball coach can somehow improve the disaster that is Geno Smith.

Look, I don't mind the trolling but at least try to be clever.

Or you could take that $100 bill you were going to bet on the Jets to win the Super Bowl and just wipe your ass with it. At least then you get something for the hundo.
