Greg Hardy to Choose Between the Cowboys and Bucs

Free agent DE Greg Hardy will sign with either the Bucs or Cowboys on Wednesday.

That comes straight from the mouth of Hardy's agent, Drew Rosenhaus. Hardy remains in Dallas after visiting the Cowboys on Tuesday and is taking a physical for the team this morning. He hasn't taken a trip to Tampa, so it's possible he's using the Bucs as leverage against the Cowboys. Dallas is the clear leader for the 26-year-old. Hardy is a premier sack master and is equally elite in run defense.

who is the bigger piece of shit?

    Greg Hardy or Adrian Peterson?

I wouldn't want either on my team.

Fukk Greg Hardy i hope he tears his ACL in week 1.

His stats are skewed he did nothing in the playoff game vs the 49ers a year ago.

He has a tendency to rack up 3 sacks in 1 game and then disapear for weeks at a time.

Great talent but an awful human being and he doesnt give 100% effort every game.

His lack of effort reminds me of Julius Peppers but Peppers was atleast a decent human being.

He brings a ton of baggage with him it would be wise to sign him to a 1 year deal loaded with incentives just incase he gets in more trouble off the field and he needs a coach who will stay on him and hold him accountable to make sure he works hard.

    And...it's Dallas.

Cowboys signed DE Greg Hardy, formerly of the Panthers, to a one-year, $11.3 million contract.

The 2014 Cowboys finished 28th in sacks. Hardy recorded 27 sacks from 2012-2013 before sitting out all but one game last season on the Commissioner's Exempt List. He'll be a "closer" for the Cowboys, who got pressure on quarterbacks last season but couldn't finish the job. Expect Hardy to slide in at right end, with Demarcus Lawrence opposite him. Hardy is a three-down player, though he may be looking at a short suspension to start the season.

Incentives can push the contract to over $13 million and Hardy will be a free agent in 2016. And you can forget about any possibility of the Cowboys landing Adrian Peterson now, not that they would have traded for him anyway without Minnesota eating most of his contract.

That's a lot of money for a guy who missed last year and will probably be suspended for a decent amount this year. Think I'd rather of had D.Murray. But what do I know?

    The Boys stole Greg Hardy.

Contract is for only $745k. Everything else has to be earned via incentives. If he's suspended, boys owe him nothing for time he's out.

This is a great signing. Play like an All-Pro...get paid like one.

Play like a scrub...that's what you get.

If that's true, then it's a good deal. I just read something on ESPN where he was getting 11m and something with the opportunity to get $13.1m. Thought that was ridiculous. This makes more sense.

Good financial deal for Dallas. Guy has a lot of talent and a big problem of keeping aggression channeled just to the field.

bear making fun of anyone's technical skills....

Guy is not being accepted well in Dallas. Poll was something like 93% against the signing vs 7% for it (per local news channel). It will be interesting to see how this plays out.

If it was down to the Cowboys and Bucs, that's an easy decision to make. Unless the guaranteed money offered by the Bucs was huge.
