that was just the ultimate monkey wrench to the plan. The carroll shotgun snap pass from the 1 was a result of this meddling in what should have happened.

if it goes down then of course thats the way it goes. theres like 8 angles you can take. coaches, 20 mill per year qbs. ever notice how all these super bowl qbs pull down huge money. then we get to the refs. and the people above the refs. im surprised they gave instant replay so much power but even that is easily tossed aside.

This reminded me of when the Heat beat the Spurs in the Finals, some ppl said it was fixed because Pop was so happy for Lebron and he sat Tony Parker at the end. Next year the Spurs beat the Heat easily in the Finals.

So why would Carroll go for the TD at end of 1st half with 6 seconds left?

Why not go for " safe" call, the fg and "shave " 4 pointd.....
most would agree with his decision and the "fix" wouldn't be obvious
