Will Rain Affect The NFC and AFC Championship Matches??

Both games are excepted to see rain. Who will this benefit?

Doubt it will affect the teams too much

With maybe only Indy who play in warmer climates but Seattle packers and pats should have no trouble adjusting

I think it benefits Seattle big time...it always does. Rodgers is a precision passer and his wet cold balls will have trouble finding their target especially when he tries to deep with his favorite partner Jordy.

Its usually not the rain but the wind that affects the passing game.

Yup. There was a graph done over a span of 20 years regarding weather and scoring. The only time it showed any affect on games was strong winds and blizzards. Not snow, but blizzards. I used to factor in weather years ago and also used to bet on games because it was on TV. Both are noob mistakes.

FWIW ... rain supposed to be heavy at times in NE. One thing it will do for sure is negate the home field advantage (noise).

Bad weather favors run game and defense. Indy's run game and D is sad, Seattle's run game and D is beastly.

Only team I see it hurting is Colts who don't really have a run gm to grind with. The other 3 teams used to shit weather but the pass happy Colts and Luck being from Stanford and now in a cush dome in the big show not used to these conditions. I can see Rodgers having an even more miserable day working in pocket with his limited mobility on a wet surface as well. A tough day for doggies might get even worse.....

    Red chowder or white chowder.

    White chowder is creamy.
    Mmmmmm, creeeeeamy.

    Red chowder is more runny.
    I don't like runny chowder.

Just experienced the worst case of black ice in my 25+ years of driving.
    Unfucking believable.
One giant sheet of ice that you can't see.
Just saw a guy T-Bone a parked car from a stand still.
    Record breaking pile ups.

Update 10:00 a.m.: The following driving warnings were issued by police:
Danbury: “Multiple accidents please stay off the road if you do not have to go out very very slippery.” – Danbury PD
Redding: “Roads are impassable because of ice – we have issued an emergency notification to our residents to stay where ever they are until temps rise. We are asking media to help get this word out. Obviously multiple crashes in progress – sand trucks are having a difficult time maneuvering as well. Until temps rise – travel should be considered life threatening.” – Redding PD
Fairfield: “Extreme icy conditions exist. Multiple motor vehicle accidents in the area. Do not drive if possible.” – Fairfield PD
Update 9:12 a.m.: After a car spun out and hit a guard rail in Southbury, police in the area are advising drivers to pull over and wait for state and town trucks to treat the roads.
    Original post:
The National Weather Service issued a freezing rain advisory for southwestern Connectiuct until 11 a.m. on Sunday, January 18, 2015. Drivers should be cautious of slick, icy road conditions.
In New Canaan, accidents were reported as of 8:30 a.m. The town’s Emergency Management Director Michael Handler called residents and posted this message on Facebook
“Road conditions are extremely hazardous due to ice on most of the town’s roadways. There are numerous motor vehicle accidents and abandoned vehicles on the roads and highways. Please stay off the roads until weather conditions improve and the Town’s highway department is able to treat the roadways.”

Nasher you do it all. Give us winners, weather warnings, etc. But seriously until you've lost total control of a 2000 lb auto going 30 plus mph you haven't lived. Good coronary check. Thanks Nasher.

I have a 4 wheel drive Chevy SUV.
Where I live in New England there are a lot of hills, I've seen it all, multiple 30 inch snow blizzards, I felt Superstorm Sandy bite me in the ass, you name it, we've seen it, but navigating the hills where I live this morning was a top five driving experience.
Black ice you can't see is an amazing rush, you have to concentrate at 5 MPH, and I don't like to think on weekends.

pssst. Just for you, don't tell anybody. Green Bay plus the points.
    (you're welcome)
