Cutler never cared about winning or losing just like Carmelo Anthony

There is zero reason to play him anymore this year

Bears allowed 51 points last week and 55 tonight, I think CHI's problems are bigger than Jay Cutler.

Is the defense supposed to put points on the board too? Bears D is worst in the league but that doesn't excuse Cutler from doing his job

I always say when is enough of JJ Gold every time I see another one of his crappy threads but he still has a job. He doesn't even have a horrible defense to blame for his putrid performance.

If it was just one bad game nobody would care

The guy is a consistent loser and doesn't instill confidence. A bad QB and leader

People say the same thing about Eli even though he's got 2 rings. QBs get too much blame and credit.

The Bears D and O-line are just flatout terrible. Cutler made some bonehead plays, but that Defense is outrageously bad.

    Briggs gave up last week
CBS) Lance Briggs is mentally checking out as a Bear, and he isn’t afraid to admit it.
The seven-time Pro Bowl linebacker spoke with reporters Wednesday, discussing the likely end of his tenure in Chicago and describing how hard it was to concentrate in meetings while recovering from his latest injury.
“I don’t know what to do with myself sometimes,” he said. “Sometimes I sit in the meetings while coaches are talking and sometimes the words just phase out and I’m just staring at the screen. The only thing I can tell is the time. I can see the time and it’s like, ‘Damn, I still got 55 minutes left.'”
It would be nice for a veteran leader to participate, even if he’s not playing. It would be a professional example for younger players and just might make the defense better prepared if Briggs is engaged, interested or available to help.
He’s not, however, and he’s fine with everyone knowing it.
Briggs’ brutal honesty shows he has no fear of repercussions from his coaches, and so little respect for them that he can tell the world he doesn’t care what they say.

Compare Jay Cutler to Lynn Dickey. I don't think GB blames Dickey for GB's shortcomings in those years.

I'm a contrarian by nature. It's not that I give a crap about Cutler, I just react to overreaction.

The last 3 games the Bears put up 14,23 and 14 points. You would struggle to even beat Jacksonville with that offensive output. And the last 2 games had garbage time scores so even those shit numbers are inflated.

Yes the D is a big problem, but the offense doesn't even give them a chance. Cutler is not a good QB for all the arm strength and toughness he has.

When you continue to turn the over you turn your bad defense into a worse defense. Is it coincidence that the Bears win games when Cutler doesn't turn the ball over and get killed when he does?

    Jay Cutler receives 7-year deal

    January 2014

Cutler's deal is expected to eclipse the $17.6 million average the Detroit Lions gave Matthew Stafford in July. It also includes at least $50 million in guaranteed money, league sources told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter.

Cutler isn't worried about his critics panning the deal.
