A strategy which (somehow) would have failed vs. BALT in their most recent matchup but would have worked stunningly tonight. Which WAS a big game, Divisional matchup within a tightly packed Div. might be the loss that keeps them out of the postseason this year where he'd have failed again anyways costing us (yet another) excellent fade opportunity.

Not just an "off game", his performance was horrible. In yet another big game.
great post but he is not even a great stat guy anymore
They need to change qb to save season

    Dalton is not the QB

He is in a situation like Cutler

he has star receivers, enough time to throw in the pocket, and overthrows or makes bad decisions

    time to go

    according to google:

Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton's six-year, $115 million contract has a base value of $97.086 million, including a $12 million signing bonus and $17 million guaranteed.

why do teams make stupid decisions like this?

I could have probably gotten 3 points last night if I was the Quarterback

I will take a quarter of that salary

Dalton sucks....many times he justs chucks it up to AJ Green who is a STUD and he comes down with it. Green has scored a ton of TD's that way. Dalton is easily rattled and has a hard time reading defenses and is not very accurate at all. Cinn has a lot of talent and a solid defense but no QB....another troubled franchise

that is exactly what Cutler does

throws jump balls to Marshall or Jefferey and hopes for the best

when the defense is playing bad they can't use Forte in the run game, and their offense becomes short passes to Forte, or jump balls to Marshall or Jefferey

Because Cutler cannot read defenses, has a twitch, and is mildly retarded, he fails to make checks when he can clearly see pressure, then gets mad at his o-line

Dalton and Cutler (more specifically Cutler) are the most overrated QBs in the league

Ickey Woods: Bengals must win playoff game, or go in different direction at QB

Ickey Woods knows what it takes to win in the postseason, and he's tired of seeing the Bengals fail to do so.

Woods only played for four seasons with the Bengals before injuries ended his career prematurely in the 1990s. However, he helped lead his team to three playoff wins in his four-year career, three more than Cincinnati has since that last postseason win Woods was part of in 1990. The Bengals have lost six-straight playoff games since that last win, including an 0-4 mark under Andy Dalton as the starting quarterback.

If Dalton doesn't lead the Bengals to a playoff win this year, Woods made it clear he thinks big changes should then be made, as told an interview with ESPN's Coley Harvey:

"This is the year we must win a playoff game or it's time to start looking in a different direction at the quarterback spot," Woods said. "His thing of not being able to win the big game, he's got to shake that and get it done this year."
