This guy is such a dope.
You don't chase the running backs dumbass. They run 4.4 seconds. You block the running lanes and apparently Wilfork can't push the offensive linemen back. Was A Smith sacked or touched once? Was Jamal Charles or Knile Davis tackled for a loss?

    Chasing the RBs..lol

If you are chasing them it means your defensive linemen are shitty.

Wrong again. It's Wilfork and the rest of the lines job to eat blocks and maintain gap control. The linebackers are designed to left to roam free and make tackles.

    Good job. Good effort.

Almost every time a team gets blown out by 21 or more points they usually cover the next game. It works even better when its a nationally televised game. You can go back and test this out.

Pats are the play here fellas. The NFL will also be helping out a bit if you know what I mean. Like some one said before, if Brady gets embarrassed and then loses again the following week on prime time twice in a row, the Brady era is over but I'm not quite sold on that yet.

Lots of angles favoring the Pats mentioned but:

Bengals are coming off a bye/Pats short week where they were physically dominated
Bengals out to prove themselves as elite on primetime

The Bengals are a much more physical and talented team but Pats @ home are hard to bet against...Better games out there and can't see how anyone can bet big on this one

Pats success in the past was a result of:

Welker ALWAYS finding a seem and Brady getting him the ball. Which

Moved the other teams safeties toward the line of scrimmage and allowed a tight end to rumble down the field 1 on 1 with a line backer.

Gronk has lost a step or 2 and wekler cant be replaced. Look for NE to try lots of screens this week to try and replicate a welker effect.

NE has been successful on borrowed time for 3 years now(the above and a sucky AFC east). We see what happens to NE when the hit the playoffs. Ass burn for them.

Bengals SHOULD win this game. If they seriously cant properly game plan for the pats with a bye week the coach and staff sucky ass

Cincy wins....Pats are looking like an 8-8 team.
Also, for the past decade or so, the Pats have been beating the SHI* out of the rest of the league..payback time...

Bad vibes in Foxboro, Brady off his feed big time and O-line playing like crap and that has been a mainstay of Pats success. Bengals the play here, was hoping to get them at -2 or -2.5 at decent plus money, but -2.5 only +108.

could be wrong, just my .02$
just seems like a damn good spot to rig a game. if i was nfl and loved to rig games, i would certainly rig this one.

will they let the patriots look bad on snf wearing pink and fighting for a cure for c

22-1 in october since 2003 at home. gotta treat nfl like the suspicious WWE organized crime product that it is sometimes and just pass on some games.

    from pats website:
The New England Patriots will promote breast cancer awareness during the month of October as part of the NFL and the American Cancer Society's 'A Crucial Catch' campaign. The Patriots players will wear pink game apparel this week when the team hosts the Cincinnati Bengals.

The Patriots will attempt to extend their streak to 32 straight regular-season home wins against AFC conference opponents. The Patriots 31 straight home wins against a conference is the longest in NFL history (following the 1970 merger). The Miami Dolphins are second in NFL history with 21 straight home conference wins (1971-1974). Cincinnati has the second longest active streak with nine straight home conference wins. The Patriots have not lost a home conference game since 2008, when they lost a 33-10 game to the Pittsburgh Steelers (11/30/08).

The Patriots have also been very good at Gillette Stadium in October, compiling a 22-1 home record during the month since 2003.

Mehn I love how you think and post! People gamble their money off of some stupid ass theories!

Example: "Team A is 9-2 ATS against Team B the past 5 years" not realizing that Team A were 9-0 before Team B actually got a good team!

i'll be a anxious spectator on this one. pocket passer and weak o-line is trouble for Pats but betting against bill and tom off a loss will make you broke long term. im just on Saints/Broncos teaser at the moment.

Here is a person who is intelligent and, as result, will seek a better opportunity for profit elsewhere, in other games, unlike many in this thread who are going to risk (and very possibly lose) money betting that the team (as yet another intelligent insightful poster shared with us above) wearing Pink as a symbol for fighting and winning against Cancer will LOSE on National TV at a time when the NFL is desperately in need of whatever Public Relations WIN they can get.

MoneyMo and others pointed out that the line is very fishy. Bettors on this game would seem to be motivated by a desire to demonstrate that they are smart enough to outsmart the linesmakers rather than a desire to profit financially from NFL wagering. If you must bet in this game I'd think the side to be on would be the side thats gonna cast the NFL in the most positive light. The best move the Bengals could make here is to also show up in Pink Uniforms.

Patriots are 29th in total offense at 298.5 yards per game. It won't get any easier against the Bengals (3-0), who allow a league-low 11.0 points per game and come to town rested after their bye week.

    Bengals keep on rolling!

When has Joe Public ever decided he was going to outsmart the linesmakers? It's hook line and sinker almost 90% of the time with the linesmakers, that's why they are $ and Joe Public is a broke dikk.

Don't forget who coaches and QBs both teams. Marvin Lewis has made some of the dumbest decisions I've ever seen over the years and they still have Dalton who also is prone to playing very poorly on the road. Not saying you auto play Brady and Bellicheck but come on, its a road game, and I've seen more outrageous lines and matchups that have gone the route of the huge dog and team no one wanted thought had a chance.
