    The NFL needs the NY Giants to be RELEVANT

    Don't surprised if the Giants beat the Cardinals Sunday and then the Colts beat the Eagles on MNF.

    NY Giants fans are ready to throw the towel in on the season but lets not forget the NFL needs the Giants to be relevant for ratings reasons and the strong NY media market.

    Lets not forget the Giants always win we least expect them to.

    If that was the case, the league would've went under in the 60's and 70's when the Giants had their 15+ year playoff drought and the Jets went an entire decade without having a winning season.

    This isnt baseball...people are watch the sport regardless of whether there team sucks or not.

    yeah i know.. but with characters like Eli Manning and Tony Romo i just feel like the NFL benifets when these guys are in contention.. its partly conspiracy theorist in me but also we all know Eli Manning is capable of playing at a high level he is just very inconsistent. Coach Coughlin is probably making practice hard as fukk for them this week

    Being at home wont help elis horrible decision making but i just dont think cardinals are good at all. Cruz and randle should play a bigger role this week and Jennings should have a decent game. If they cant win this game then im fading them all year.

    nah i would say the Cowboys have been relevant every year.

    when i say relevant my definition of a relevant team is a team that is still playing meaningful games in late November and December. A team that atleast has a chance toward the end of the year of making the playoffs.

    the Cowboys last 2 seasons have come down to the final game.

    I'm just saying NY Giants will hover around .500 this year. If you watched them play the Lions they look like they might go 2-14 but i dont they are "that bad" i dont think the Eagles run away the division. Lets not forget they played the Jaguars who really are 2-14 quality team.
