Here we go again: Rams concerned Bradford re-torn ACL

Bradford should be nicknamed Mr Glass. Can't catch a break....but definitely a softy. So much for much of the Rams playoff hopes. As good as their defense is, they aren't going to make it far with Shaun Hill starting 16 games at QB.

    Reported by Adam Schefter.

I knew they fukked up not taking one of the big name qb's anyways in the draft.
Bradford sucks and he's always been fragile.
Don't know what playoffs hopes you're talking about because he's not going to get them there anyways, especially in that division, even with a decent defense. That defense is definitely good though.

Officially torn ACL, out for season. Probably should just release him.

Yep he's done for the season.

Curious to see if Rams go after a QB now. Shaun Hill did play decent when Stafford was hurt a few years ago.

They probably weren't going to make it, but you never know. NFL is always full of surprises. They have the best front 7 in the league. If they could just get the offense rolling they'd have a shot. Division is tough, but I think Niners are in for a down year. I liked Rams chances more than Cards before the Bradford injury just because of some of the losses on Cards defense. Guess it's all a moot point now, they aren't going to the playoffs with Shaun Hill as their QB.

Sorry for St. Louis: if Hill wasn't good enough to head the Detroit Lions (in all of their ineptitude) what does that say about his real ability to lead the Rams to a high level of success?

Yea that's inaccurate. Definitely NOT even close to the best front 7. They may have one of the top Dlines but certainly not the top front 7

Who do you like better? Might have been premature calling them the best, but easily top 5. Likely top 3.

Only other teams that can contend with Rams front 7 is Panthers....maybe KC. Bills have very underrated front 7 too. Id still take Rams front 7 over Panthers I think. Niners don't count because Bowman is out for a while and Aldon Smith will get suspended.

Maybe they call Washington and try to pry Cousins from them? They can't be comfortable with what they've got?

Freeman is a good candidate. Completely forgot about him. Seattle has Pryor as their 3rd stringer, they could try to move him.

I think the most likely scenario is Mark Sanchez, if Eagles are willing to trade him. Brian Shottenheimer is the O-Coordinator for STL. He was the O-Coordinator for Sanchez when he was with the Jets. Bringing in a new QB to learn an entirely new system in just a couple weeks is almost impossible. Sanchez very familiar with Shottenheimer's system.

That is the play here. Jay Gruden has a QB problem. Cousins has outplayed RGIII but Gruden likes RGIII. Gruden will take a decent defensive player to rid himself of a problem.

problem with that is, it'll cost them a 1st round pick and possibly more. and if cousins isn't who we thought he was, they are right back in the same position next season but without a 1st round pick.

otoh, sanchez would only cost a 3rd round pick. and if he stinks, they still have a 1st round pick to use on a top 3 qbs coming out next season: winston, hundley or mariota.

I think Sanchez is their best choice. Any other QB they bring in won't be ready til probably week 2 or 3. We all saw what happened to Freeman last year with the Vikes, was never able to learn the offense quick enough. Sanchez should be able to step in right away and play. But is Sanchez really that much better than Shaun Hill? I know he has had a good camp, but that could be a product of Chip Kelly's offense and going against backups in preaseason games.

Did the Rams season win total drop? It's at 7.5 on SBR? If not loadup now boys on future under 7.5 wins, Shaun Hill is not the answer.
I feel bad for Sam and Coach Fisher. Defense is solid. Running game good. If you have in Fantasy Football Givens or Quick in Fantasy Football, waive them.

The Rams would be wise to check on the availability of Detroit QB Kellen Moore- the Lions are probably dumb enough to trade him.

That would be interesting to go along with Zac Stacy for a strong running game. Could also find out once and for all if he really can play Qb or not. Shaun Hill for Bradford isn't like Kurt Warner replacing Trent Green.

Seriously?! Isn't Palmer still their Qb? Below average defense with 3 of their front 7 missing on defense from last year.

Fisher reminds me of such a conservative coach when he has a sh#$ team. He knows it. He'll just be looking for a simple QB who manages the game. Run run run.... pass here and there.
