Cassel, Manziel to Start Second Preseason Games
Bridgewater will be second in the rotation for the Vikings but Johnny Football is expected to start for the Browns, who ideally would like to make a decision on their Week 1 starter before the third preseason game.
Cassel seems to have the edge on the starting job in Minnesota but the Manziel / Brian Hoyer competition in Cleveland is now a toss-up.
Cassel looked just fine.
I hope to see more reps this week. Even though I want bridgewater to take over whether it's at the end of this season or in the future, It's important in his progression.

Johnny is 3x the quarterback that Hoyer is. Once a team takes away all the quick short reads from Hoyer disaster will follow! Hoyer was slightly above average in high school, average in college, and below average in NFL.
Cleve is a good 1st half play

No way Grossman starts unless top two are both injured. They signed him as a veteran #3 to serve more as a mentor (especially for Manziel).Don't sleep on Rex Grossman being Browns starting Qb. They must have signed him for a reason
Browns signed QB Rex Grossman.
Backups Tyler Thigpen and Connor Shaw can probably start packing their bags. Grossman has a history with OC Kyle Shanahan, having played for him in both Houston and Washington. Grossman will not be a factor to start. Instead, he'll be a sounding board for both Brian Hoyer and Johnny Manziel.
