My theory on this is simple. With all of the hype Manziel is getting most fans don't even know that Gilbert was their first pick. 1) Dude MUST be pissed off (i.e., motivated) 2) HC Pettine traded up to get the player he wanted - Gilbert will get every chance to prove himself.

I like the thought process you use. The only problem is that Gilbert plays on a very poor team and will not get the attention he deserves. Cleveland is about as bad as it gets in the AFC.

unless he is a beast, a corner won't win this award plus it takes a few years before corner become elite, Clowney, Mack , and Donald are your best bets, personally Donald is the best value and i wouldn't be surprised if he has 8-10 sacks and is near the league leaders in TFL.
