Indianapolis Colts 18:1 To Win the Super Bowl

Seems like a pretty good value on a futures bet if I have ever seen one. They drafted a stud WR from Ole Miss to compliment Reggie Wayne and Andrew Luck is one year older. This same team beat the 49ers, Seahawks and Broncos last year....and they were still injury riddled.

Plus they play in a crappy division that they could easily go 5-1 in. Probably win the AFC south easily in fact and earn home field advantage and a first round play off bye.

    Thoughts?

Not quite there. At least 1 or 2 more years to make a serious run.

They don't beat the Broncos at Mile High. Maybe the Pats in Foxboro but I don't think they have enough to make it all the way. Their defense is suspect

18:1 odds though for team that is easily going to finish 12-4 at the worst though and have a first round bye.....how can you pass up that bet?

The reason I say give it a year or two is because Peyton is going back to the superbowl year with a vengeance.

Only other team that has a legitimate shot of making it out of the AFC is the patriots. That's it

Any other team is wasted money

They made some nice moves, a good pickup with my boy Art Jones. They're definitely a contender to come out of the AFC, solid value here. Most likely need another year or two but could see it happening so worth a shot at least.

The Patriots can beat any team at the Super Bowl except for the NY Giants and maybe the Seahawks as well.

    Those odds seem off

    Luck is pretty big time

I think they have a decent roster

    Good bet

Not a bad wager at all. The AFC South is easily the worst Division in Football. I am going to make a ton of money fading the Broncos. Look at all of the suckers in here who think they are going to repeat. This is like leading sheep off of a cliff. They play at Denver week 1, and host New England later on. They get the NFC East and AFC North. They should not lose more than 5 games. Their problem may not be getting to the Superbowl, but winning it. The entire NFC West is better than they are, as are the Packers, Saints, and possibly the Eagles. The AFC is extremely weak this season. You are talking about a team that probably would not win their Division if they were in the NFC.

As much as I hate the Broncos, they are not a 'weak' team and are definitely better than the Eagles. Pats and Broncs are easily two of the top 5 teams in the league. They will probably be overvalued on the spread side all year though.

12-4 and the second/third seed will just not be enough for them. And that's being optimistic, they could easily go 10-6 as their defense could lose games for them.

Are you guys serious? The New York Giants? They will be lucky to win their Division. As far as Denver goes, Manning will not come close to having the season he had last season, IF he even manages to finish this season. His neck is giving him more problems than denver wants to admit to. They also played the NFC East and the AFC South last season, arguably two of the worst divisions in the NFL. This season they get the NFC West (the best division in the NFL) and the AFC East, including a game AT New England. Itis not hard to see 6 losses for the Bronco's. We all know how bad the losers of the Superbowl do in the next season. The 49ers were an exception, but they did NOT get back to the Superbowl.

the colts O-line is horrible, their d is not good, Denver and NE will beat them 9 out of 10 times and even by some grace of god they get to the final Seattle and San Fran would beat them. this bet is just like

Ha. Luck's first two regular seasons are solid. Looked at the schedule for this year and looks like another 11 win season barring any major injuries.

Bad team. Have yet to cover a playoff game in the Andrew Luck era. Betting against them in the playoffs is the easiest money I've made the last 2 seasons.

Andrew Luck is probably ready to lead a team to the superbowl, but not with this roster. Have they done much this offseason other than getting Hakeem Nicks?

Can't wait to see Trent Richardson rush for negative yards this season.
