Not a chance. Ray Lewis' last hoorah that boosted the morale of the Ravens and a blown coverage by the Broncos secondary late in the AFC championship is what it took for the Ravens to make the superbowl.

After the broncos got their asses handed to them by the seahawks, Peyton Manning and co will be looking to get revenge along with the addition of Demarcus Ware who will be out to show the country that Dallas made a huge mistake.

You also can't forget about the Patriots

Save your money. They wont be making the superbowl this year

Bear. Save your money. Flacco is average at best and Smith is washed up. Baltimore scored 20 or lesws points in 10 games last season while giving up 23 or more points in 8 games. They play the NFC South, which means losses to Carolina, New Orleans, and Atlanta. Thisis just throwing your money away, again.

The dude is 35 and he's short. (not that it mattered before, but he's older) I could understand if he was 35 and had height like Randy Moss, but he doesn't.

    He's done

    Hammering? No
    100 bucks? Yes

Always have to think that Baltimore will be "in it"...AFC keeps getting tougher though and Baltimore isn't getting any better, while other contenders are and they are getting healthy.

The Bengals, Chiefs, and Giants are 40/1 all seem to be a better bet than the Ravens.

Falcons are 28/1. Steelers are 33/1. They seem like better value picks than the Ravens

I don't really see it. Have they improved their O-line? Last year their running attack was one of the worst, and that was with two pretty good backs. Defense is still mediocre. Steve Smith should help the passing game.

Ravens in one of the toughest divisions in the league. Pittsburgh always good, Bengals arguably the most talented team in the AFC, Browns arguably the most improved. I give the Ravens about a 1/4 chance to make the playoffs, and that may be generous. Pass on this...

Denver the only team that can rival Cincy's talent, and all their talent on offense, Bengals have talent everywhere... this is a pretty standard view, and just goes to show how much coaching/clutch QB play mean in the NFL.

Without Boldin on offense and without Lewis on defense. No thanks.

Smith can still play. Not what he used to be, but he will be a nice #2 WR for Balti.

Only reason I think Baltimore has any shot at the postseason is bc of Harbaugh and Flacco. Coaching/QB is everything in the NFL, and he is a borderline top-tier coach in the league. Not saying Flacco is elite, but he is probably the best QB in the division right now

    LOL that was good.
How many times do we have to hear the Browns have improved year after year with their draft picks and signings?
    They suck every year regardless.

As for the Ravens, I like that value at 40-1 BB, but I also LOVE the value of the Bengals.

But can Smith do what Boldin did? Boldin is the one who got Flacco that fat paycheck.

Also, Smith and Rice are about the last two players you should be looking at when handicapping a team for an entire season...

    1. Head Coach
    2. QB
    3. Defense
    4. O-line
    5. playmakers

Not to mention Ray Rice was probably the biggest disappointment at RB last year. I don't even know if he averaged 3 yards a carry. If he did, it was close to 3.
