So....I'm not sure what all the fuss is about here.

1. New Orleans clearly has the best offense they have seen all year.
2. Seattle has injuries to some key players
3. Seattle really hasn't beat anyone. They beat 1 team with a winning record at the time they played them, and that was San Fran with a then record of 1-0.

The argument can definitely go both ways, but I really think a lot of people are undervaluing the significant of SoS here. Well, maybe they're not underestimating it's value, but they're possibly failing to recognize a slightly inflated perception of some statistics than appear to favor the Seahawks in this matchup.

10-1 in the NFL is pretty darn good no matter who they played. But the Saints are good too. Should be fun.

This is a tossup game, IMO, but the Seahawks playing at home definitely gives them an edge. The Saints past couple performances on the road (particularly the one in New York) does worry me because NO are not the same qb outdoors that they are indoors. But we'll see. I think on a neutral field the Saints get the slight edge, but in Qwest Field on MNF is a tough task.

Seattle beat SF and the 49ers are 8-3 in their other games.


Those are two damn good wins.

Arizona is 7-4 in their other games.

The NFC West is probably the best division in football, and Seattle leads it by 2.5 games. They have not lost a division game.

Dont really have an opinion in this game one way or the other, just pointing out a quick stat. According to Sagarin, the Seahawks actually have a tougher strength of schedule than the Saints (18 vs 23). Not sure what algorithm he uses to determine that, just thought it was interesting. Seattle has been missing 3 starting O linemen the majority of the season, 2 of which are pro bowlers. I don't are who you are or who you're playing, missing your center and both tackles is a brutal loss.
