Saints over Seahawks on Monday Night

All the value lies with New Orleans in this matchup. For the longest time, we could count on books underestimating Seattle's homefield advantage. Once they dismantled the 49ers in Week 2, that was all put to an end and Vegas finally adjusted. Don't get me wrong - Seattle is a great team and very well may win the NFC. But I am taking the Saints in this matchup. Even though Seattle is coming off the bye, New Orleans had a week and a half to prepare and they will be ready.

    $300 on Saints +5.5 -105 and $100 on the ML +210

Trying to follow logic. Ir saying seattle is over valued here at -5.5?. Saying line is wrong? What should the real line be then?

I think it's overvalued by 2 points or so. I'd take NO anywhere over +3. Really think people are underestimating the losses of Thurmond and Browner. I took Saints at +5. I'll put a small bet on the ML as well.

I'm saying for the longest time Seattle was undervalued at home. Now it has flipped to the other side (although not by much).

I'm with vividjohn here. What did you expect the line to be? Seattle is 5-0 at home this season after being 8-0 last year. New Orleans is notoriously mediocre on the road. Rain/snow mix today and temps below freezing tonight. If anything, I'd say -4.5 is a generous # for the Seahawks, not the Saints.

First off its 5.5. I know these teams are different now but a few years ago NO was a 10 pt fave as a wild card team AT Qwest.

So for the third and final time, my point is that books have finally caught up to Seattle's great homefield advantage. Again, this happened after Week 2's dismantling of San Fran.

didn't even see this thread. love the saints too. Seattle is missing too many key players. 2 of their best defensive players, plus no Harvin, no Rice. This line is ridiculous.

Saints are playing play great this game then be sore as hell for next week when they play Newton and Carolina and they'll probably get their first lost in the superdome nxt week too.

that's how i see it playing out.

I don't know about that game next week. Carolina is gaining confidence with each game.

Seattle never really has Harvin or Rice so I don't see the big deal there.
