Rams will win outright, send Atlanta to 0-2

The Rams are a solid team. I expect them to make the playoffs. Been saying the last two years I think Atlanta is overrated and will fall off. Been wrong the last couple years but I think this is the year they struggle.

St. Louis goes into the Georgia Dome and pulls off the upset.

    Disagree.

    Look at skill positions.

    Steven Jackson > Richardson

    Ryan > Bradford

    White/Jones (banged up) > Givens/Austin

    Gonzalez > Cook

    Defenses lets say push.

    ATL so good at home.

cover spread no doubt.. tough to win in atl tho, they are capable. it will come down to the end. i hope you are right but perfectly content taking the 7 points as that as big a gift as getting 4.5 with zona against them last week..

Wow that's a big prediction. I agree Atlanta is overrated but they do have a great offense. They are very good at home and I think they win the game but not cover. 7 points is a ton in the NFL and I wouldn't lay it with Atlanta. Their offensive firepower and performance at home, especially Matt Ryan, make me think they win the game though. But best of luck to you on any wagers you make on this game.

Lol @ push on the defenses, not even close

I agree about rams being underrated, love what fishers done over there so far. That being said its fukkin near impossible to win in the Georgia dome, if I can get a touchdown + the hook its bombs away.

ATL's pretty banged up. Roddy's definitely not at 100% and even Julio's having problems. The biggest mismatch in the matchup, as far as I can tell, is STL d-line vs ATL abysmal offensive line. Without the dual threat of White/Jones in full effect, Matt Ryan's going to have a lot of problems.

Do people really compare each others' skill positions to cap a game?

Need to be looking at their individual matchup with the opposing defender(s)....

I think ATL rolls here. STL D will keep it close but I don't think there Offence will do much.

ATL has the best offense in league (when they are all healthy) and their below average defense actually held Brees to a lower amount of points than I thought they had the ability too. Rams will get blown out.

Jackson, Gonzalez, and Jones will all score.

why is that? bradford completed 70% of his passes and threw for 300 yards against zona who has a better defense than atl..who the hell on atl gonna defend Cook and austin running across the middle? surely not a lb, if safeties help in that regard then givens will hit them over the top.. rams biggest problem is they still have a bad habit of settling for fgs in the red zone which could cost them but they should not have a whole lot of trouble moving the ball in this gm.. it was easy taking the 4.5 with zona last week cause more than a fg was a no brainer in that gm but now the tide has turned and rams are the ones catching too many points.. even last yr with far fewer weapons on offense and a significantly worse oline there were not many gms rams were not in it with a chance to win late, few exceptions but again their offense has been drastically upgraded...if you seriously think atl covers you prob better off betting the over cause it will take them scoring 30 minimum to win by a td or more imo..

Exactly. Need to analyze it as a unit, not this teams rb is better than that team's etc.

Rams win the battle at the line of scrimmage. It all starts there. Atlanta has old players at a lot of key positions. Even if St. Louis doesn't manage to pull off the upset they will give the Falcons all they can handle. I think Rams ML is good to go though.

For morons that think the Rams are 'so good'

Yards given up against ARIZONA: 390 yards

ATL gave up 419 yards to NEW ORLEANS..

Let me guess... St. Louis front 7 is so good?

Your not reading very well today my friend.

I said comparing skill positions players mean nothing

You need to compare them against who they will be matched up with

If team A has better receivers but are going against the best secondary in the league

And Team B has average receivers but going against the worst secondary in the league

That's PART of the info you need to see who is going to have more success through the air

Doesn't matter who has the better player, it matters who has the better matchup

    Kid, you're wrong.

If STL has the worst offense in the league going against the worst defense, I dont give a fuk

ATL has much better offense than STL, obviously.

And their defenses are about even.

    So Advantage ATL.

    Fuk off.

We get it by your 5 posts in this thread that you are really pushing for the Rams to win and it isn't going to happen.

    Get off Bradford's dick.
