    Not pretty, but it’s a ‘w’

There was nothing the least bit elegant about their victory Sunday, and the Dolphins couldn’t care less. In fact, it’s easy to get the impression that they actually prefer nasty to pretty. It was a season-opening win.It came on the road. Those are two very significant elements regarding life in the NFL, so neither did it matter that the opponent was the less-than-powerful Cleveland Browns. What mattered was how the Dolphins forged the 23-10 win through a stout and resolute toughness reflected in a defense that intercepted three passes and accumulated six sacks. They made the Browns miserable by using quarterback Brandon Weeden for target practice. The Dolphins’ greatest worries heading into the season, a revamped offensive line and an unproven running game, will remain concerns heading into Week 2.
