A 3rd ACL tear could be a TKO for this guy. People forget that this guy tore his knee apart in college and that's not good for wear and tear. How many times can you destroy your knee?

He's 6'2, 220 which is undersized for an NFL quarterback but if he adds weight he loses speed and he can't add any height.

He took a brutal concussion hit in the Atlanta game when LB Sean Weatherspoon crushed him. When RG3 went to the sidelines he failed a memory test and had no idea what was going on. Concussions get worse over time and the NFL is beginning to take concussions more seriously. 1-2 concussions and you are probably ok, but 4,5,6,7+? What if the league started not allowing concussed players to play anymore after a set number?

RG3 is a completely different player and person than Michael Vick. Vick is an ignorant thug and Rg3 is a Republican military brat from Texas. He speaks well and has a can do attitude but they could have similar careers in that they are both runners and are always hurt.

Rg3 had a very low attempts per game, and he ran wild. The Redskins want to dial back his running or at least want him to run more responsibility. It's hard to have an on off switch and to play scared or cautious.

The Redskins gave up a lot to the Rams to get him and they need him to stay healthy but he already has a bad injury history for a 2nd year QB and if you had to bet on who will get hurt again in the future he has to be near the top of your list. He could be the next Theisman.

Looked into this a few days ago, I came away with the conclusion that Shanahan is going to ride RG III until the wheels fall off, be it week 1 or 10 years from now, dude will be using that guy until he is dead and gone.

As JJ mentioned, Cousins is very solid. Shanahan obviously knows this and has no problem using RG III, whereas most teams would be much more cautious.

I don't see anything wrong with that, but if you are on RGIII for fantasy reasons, you also need a quality backup.

So what's the over/under on how many games he starts?

Vick came into the league in 2001 - It's 2013 right now. Do you know how many season's he's started all 16 games? 1. That's pathetic.

In his last 3 years Vick has started 10,13 and 11 games. That's going into the year healthy and then by week 10 or so he wears down and gets injured. Even when he plays, he has nagging injuries and really wears down.

RG3 didn't get hurt in the middle of last year, he got hurt at the very end. Is he really 100% healthy right now? There is a difference between running around cones with a red shirt on and getting chased by linebackers. Last year he was "healthy" and he started 15 games. So what's the O/U for RG3 starts? 13? Maybe you set the line at 12 or 14 depending on how he looks the next few weeks but there is a decent chance he goes way under.
